Our mission to you:
It is Little Legends mission to provide holistic, non-traditional, and comprehensive occupational therapy services to children ages 0-21 and their families. We want to create a safe therapy environment for children to hone on their strengths and build on their weakness to reach their maximum potential facilitating success in their daily occupations. Little legends Therapy is a pediatric occupational therapy practice in Billings, MT that opened in January of 2023. We believe in creating a therapy environment where children can feel safe to build the skills, they need to be successful in their daily occupations through play and sensory motor-based interventions. We believe in a “bottom-up” approach to therapy by addressing the foundational components and filling in the holes building on them to facilitate motivation, participation, confidence, and success in daily occupations. We provide occupational therapy services to children ages 0-21 with a wide variety of diagnosis inclusive of, but not limited to, ADHD, Dyspraxia, Anxiety, SPD, ODD, ASD, developmental delay, and social skills differences. About us:
Little Legends Therapy was founded in January of 2023 by owner and occupational therapist, Tenika Capouch. Tenika has practiced in Billings since 2018, where she noticed the ever-growing need of therapy for the pediatric population in the Billings community. Throughout her experiences as an occupational therapist, she noticed the influx of mental health diagnosis being referred to therapy. Children and teenagers with differences in self-regulation, behavioral control, sensory processing, etc. Families, caregivers, and various school staff implemented multiple different strategies that were ineffective, leaving them feeling “lost” and at the end of their rope. Tenika wanted to create a therapy practice where the approach to therapy was “non-traditional”, helping families, caregivers, school staff, and patients understand their child and themselves through a different lens, restoring hope and guiding them along the way. Meet Our Staff:
Tenika Capouch - MS, OTR/L, ADHD-RSP, CAIP - Owner

Tenika Capouch is a Billings native who has been practicing as an Occupational therapist since 2018. She graduated from Rocky Mountain College with her Bachelor of Science in human health and performance all while playing collegiate basketball. She then earned her master’s in occupational therapy from the University of Mary of North Dakota. Tenika has experience treating patients of all ages. Her primary passion is with the school-age and adolescent populations, teaching self-awareness, self-regulation, and executive functioning skills. Tenika is an ADHD Rehab Specialist Provider (ADHD-RSP) and Certified Anxiety Informed Professional. She has received the STAR level 1 mentorship training at the Star Institute in Denver. She is a BAL-A-VIS-X certified therapist. Tenika is a believer in giving back to the community and has partnered with Warrior Transitions Outdoors to provide recommendations for families and their children transitioning out of deployment back into civilian life. In her free time, you can find Tenika at the gym, hiking, traveling, and playing with her corgi! Josi Gibbs - OTD, OTR/L

Josi Gibbs started with little Legends in July of 2023 and has been practicing as an occupational therapist since the start of 2022. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Idaho then moved to Montana to receive her doctorate at Rocky Mountain College. Montana has been her home for nearly 5 years! After graduating from OT school, Josi began working in pediatrics. She has experience in Early Intervention Services and Trauma Informed Care who has a passion for treating the infant, toddler, and school-age populations. In her free time, you can find Josi reading, playing with her two dogs, or planning her next visit to her nieces. Josi hopes to be BAL-A-VIS-X certified by 2024!

🤲 Both hands working together = major milestones.

Bilateral coordination is key for tasks like tying shoes, cutting, and dressing. We build it through:

1. Scissor use – Cutting along lines or shapes
2. Stringing beads or lacing cards – Requires both hands to work in sync
3. Drawing while stabilizing paper – Builds helper hand strength

Want to boost your child’s coordination through play?

Every child sees the world a little differently — and that’s what makes it beautiful. 🌈
For some children with autism, the world can feel loud, unpredictable, or overwhelming.

OT supports children with autism by improving sensory processing and social interaction skills — helping them feel more comfortable and confident in daily life.

When children begin to understand their sensory needs and learn new ways to connect, everyday moments — from playing with friends to joining family routines — become more joyful and fulfilling. 💛
