Our mission to you:
It is Little Legends mission to provide holistic, non-traditional, and comprehensive occupational therapy services to children ages 0-21 and their families. We want to create a safe therapy environment for children to hone on their strengths and build on their weakness to reach their maximum potential facilitating success in their daily occupations. Little legends Therapy is a pediatric occupational therapy practice in Billings, MT that opened in January of 2023. We believe in creating a therapy environment where children can feel safe to build the skills, they need to be successful in their daily occupations through play and sensory motor-based interventions. We believe in a “bottom-up” approach to therapy by addressing the foundational components and filling in the holes building on them to facilitate motivation, participation, confidence, and success in daily occupations. We provide occupational therapy services to children ages 0-21 with a wide variety of diagnosis inclusive of, but not limited to, ADHD, Dyspraxia, Anxiety, SPD, ODD, ASD, developmental delay, and social skills differences. About us:
Little Legends Therapy was founded in January of 2023 by owner and occupational therapist, Tenika Capouch. Tenika has practiced in Billings since 2018, where she noticed the ever-growing need of therapy for the pediatric population in the Billings community. Throughout her experiences as an occupational therapist, she noticed the influx of mental health diagnosis being referred to therapy. Children and teenagers with differences in self-regulation, behavioral control, sensory processing, etc. Families, caregivers, and various school staff implemented multiple different strategies that were ineffective, leaving them feeling “lost” and at the end of their rope. Tenika wanted to create a therapy practice where the approach to therapy was “non-traditional”, helping families, caregivers, school staff, and patients understand their child and themselves through a different lens, restoring hope and guiding them along the way. Meet Our Staff:

She graduated from Rocky Mountain College with her Bachelor of Science in human health and performance all while playing collegiate basketball. In her free time, you can find Tenika at the gym, hiking, traveling, and playing with her corgi! Josi Gibbs - OTD, OTR/L

Baking up independence, one recipe at a time 🧁✨

Today’s OT session was extra sweet as we baked alongside peers—and the skills worked on went far beyond the kitchen!

🤝 Social Skills
Taking turns, sharing materials, asking for help, and communicating ideas all came into play while working with new peers. Baking together created the perfect opportunity to practice teamwork and flexible thinking in a natural, low-pressure way.

🧠 Problem Solving & Executive Functioning
From following multi-step directions and sequencing the recipe to adjusting when things didn’t go as planned, our kiddos used planning, organization, impulse control, and problem-solving skills every step of the way.

💪 Confidence & Independence
Measuring ingredients, making choices, and completing tasks with less support helped build confidence and foster independence. Seeing their pride after accomplishing a meaningful activity was the best part!

🎉 Functional Skills + Fun
Hands-on activities like baking keep kids engaged while building real-life skills they can use at home, school, and in the community—all while having fun and enjoying a tasty reward at the end!

Learning is always better when it’s meaningful… and a little delicious 😄

Ever wonder why your child holds it together at school… but melts down at home? 💛

School takes a lot of effort—following rules, managing sensory input, sitting still, masking big feelings. Home is where kids feel safest to let it all out.

Those after-school meltdowns aren’t bad behavior—they’re often a sign of overloaded nervous systems, unmet sensory needs, or fatigue from holding it together all day.

✨ Occupational Therapy can help by supporting regulation, emotional awareness, sensory processing, and daily routines—so kids don’t have to work quite so hard just to cope.

If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone—and support is available.
