Get Fit participants were in for another surprise during our recent walk. A mysterious “package” was left in the hallway… which turned out to be one of our SJU team members delivering cookies and a whole lot of laughter.

Music filled the room when Canyon Creek School District #4 's 5th‑grade band and 6th-8th‑grade choir stopped by to perform for residents. 🎵 A few band members even formed their own group, The Brosters, and shared a few of their original songs. We’re grateful to these students for sharing their music and brightening the day.

Residents enjoyed a relaxing sip‑and‑paint afternoon, creating their own versions of “The Blue Longhorn” with guidance from instructor Ruby Hahn Art. Everyone focused on each brushstroke and detail, finishing with some beautiful pieces of art.

We celebrated Mardi Gras with a lively performance from Gumbo Theory—a talented group of MSUB students and alumni. Everyone enjoyed festive treats, colorful beads, and a joyful afternoon of music and fun.

Another Get Fit walk, another round of unexpected guests. This time a hot dog, taco, and apple showed up to cheer us on. Apple snacks kept us fueled as we enjoyed time together.

Rocky Vista University - Montana is hosting a free 12‑week Qigong series, and everyone is welcome to join. This gentle, mindful movement practice supports balance, relaxation, and overall well‑being — perfect for all experience levels.

Sessions begin February 19th.

Love was in the air at Mission Ridge. Li’l Joe & the Cartwrights filled the room with sweet tunes while the crowd enjoyed fun snacks, good company, and a bit of dancing. It was the perfect way to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

February is Heart Health Month, and SJU’s nurse practitioner, Danielle, spent time with our community sharing key warning signs and simple ways to care for our hearts. Her expertise left us feeling informed and empowered. ❤️

Residents came together to share ideas on how to continue caring for the Lowe Duck Pond—from supporting the ducks and small birds to exploring thoughtful improvements that will preserve the pond for generations. 🦆
