⚾❤️ Supporting Safety on and off the Field

RiverStone Health is proud to donate an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to Lockwood Little League, helping ensure players, families and fans have lifesaving support close at hand if it’s ever needed.

“Having immediate access to lifesaving tools like an AED or Narcan can make all the difference in a medical emergency,” said Jon Forte, CEO of RiverStone Health. “We’re honored to support Lockwood Little League and help strengthen the health and safety of our community.”

Lockwood Little League has 25 teams of all ages who play at their fields on Old Hardin Road.

"There are a lot of kids, coaches and fans here in the summer," said Lockwood Little League President Leslie Anderson. "We hope we never have to use it, but we want to be prepared."

In addition to the AED that will be stored in the concession stand, RiverStone Health is also donated Narcan. Narcan, the brand name for naloxone, is a medication that can rapidly reverse the effects of an opioid overdose. Both items play an essential role in community preparedness and emergency response.

Get kids involved in meal preparation! 🥦🍅 Let them pick out fruits and veggies at the grocery store or farmers market, and then have them help wash, peel, and chop them for meals.

When kids are involved in food preparation, it can encourage them to try new foods and learn where our foods come from 👩‍🌾 And with WIC, you can get fresh, canned, or frozen fruits and veggies to accommodate your families specific needs and preferences! 🙌
