In honor of the conclusion if National Prevention Week, we thought we would share some of our favorite facts about cannabis, the most widely used illicit drug in America.

1. Ma*****na use has been shown to cause 30% of all Schizophrenia cases in young men, 21 to 30 years old.

2. Using THC in teenage years has been linked to a 5x increase in psychotic disorders among individuals.

3. Cannabis use is also linked to an increased risk of depression, suicidal ideation, and suicidal attempts in young adulthood.

We have some very exciting news to share!

This year, NDASA has asked Samantha Morris to speak at their annual conference and trade show. Her speech will be focused on: "Ten things I wish I would have known before buying a business." This is a huge honor, and we want to give her the recognition she deserves.

For those of you who don't know her, Sam has owned Chemnet alongside her husband Stan for over a decade. She has dedicated so much time and energy into growing her business, and learning how to be a successful leader. She wears many different hats in her life, and "boss" is one we think fits her very well.

We love you Sam! Congratulations!

As we enter into 2025, we thought we would share our favorite parts of 2024!

This year, we opened a new location in Butte, and welcomed Denise, Zach and Amy to the team! Ronnie and Heidi stayed on to help as well!
Next, we coordinated the Yellowstone County Health Fair, helping over 300 participants with data to better manage their health.
We also assisted Quest Labs by opening Billings as their primary blood draw location.

We are so excited for all of the new things that the new year has to bring, and we are so proud of our team and their accomplishments this year!

It's time for another employee spotlight here at Chemnet!

Meet Cathy!
She has worked for us for almost 2 1/2 years. She loves the people that she works with, and the individuals who come in on a daily basis. Cathy also loves the fact that no two days are ever the same.

We asked Cathy what her favorite Disney character was, and she said Moana, which made us love her even more ;).

This last week, the Chemnet team started a health fair where we will be conducting over 300 blood draws in just 5 days!

These health fairs are conducted by individual businesses, and allow the company's employees to get a better picture of their health. Blood draws can be helpful in identifying indicators for potential health issues early on.
