Community Cooking Class: Stir-Fry!

Join MSU Extension-Yellowstone County FCS and LIFTT on Thursday, March 12, at 3 p.m. at the Billings LIFTT office (1241 Crawford Drive) for a hands-on community cooking class.

Try some quick and healthy cooking techniques and enjoy a shared meal. Free to attend — everyone’s welcome. We do ask that those planning to attend RSVP so we know how many ingredients and supplies to get.

For more information about the Community Cooking Class or to RSVP, contact Eileen Rodriguez at (406) 294-5185, eileenr@liftt.org, or Erin Culp at (406) (406) 831-0017, erinc@liftt.org

February 20 marks National Caregiver Day — a day dedicated to recognizing the compassion, commitment, and hard work of caregivers everywhere.

On this National Caregiver Day, LIFTT would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all of the Personal Care Attendants (PCAs) working with consumers in our Medicaid Self-Directed Personal Assistance Services (SDPAS) Program.

It is because of the skill, dedication, and compassion our PCAs demonstrate every day that the individuals we serve are able to do more than simply get by — they thrive. Through hands-on assistance with daily living tasks in homes across our service area, PCAs empower consumers to maintain their independence and continue living in the homes and communities of their choice, rather than facing institutional placement.

Your work makes independence possible. Your care makes dignity possible. And your impact reaches far beyond what words can express. Thank you for all that you do.

If you or someone you know needs assistance with daily living tasks and is Medicaid eligible, LIFTT’s SDPAS program may be the right fit.
