Happy Valentine’s Day. ❤️💪
CrossFit is a pretty great date idea if you think about it. Setting goals together, pushing through challenges side by side, and celebrating wins as a team.

It builds trust, support, accountability, and a whole lot of shared accomplishment.

Getting stronger together doesn’t just help in the gym. It carries into everyday life, helping couples stay motivated, connected, and healthy for the long run.

It is 6 classes learning all the foundational movements of CrossFit and how to modify them. Each class has 3 specific movements to learn at a comfortable small group pace with a Coach. Followed by a workout.

Meet Kimberly! Here is her testimony on CFB and our nutrition coaching.

Coming back to CrossFit is the best decision I’ve made in a long time!

I spent a year here back in 2021. I’d done lots of other fitness activities throughout my life and have always been involved in sports. I picked up a mountain biking addiction late in life and wanted to stay in shape to do that.

Unfortunately, my knee had other ideas. I ended up hurting my “good” knee shoveling snow and found out that I needed a knee replacement at age 52. I was also told they wouldn’t do it because I was too young. I found myself depressed because I couldn’t do much of anything I used to do. I kind of moped around for a couple of years until Yurii texted me telling me I should come back to CrossFit. I joined the Master’s Class group and immediately felt welcome!

I started slow, but after a year now, I’ve come a long way to doing movements that I never thought I would again.

I remember coming back from a weekend away excited to tell Yurii I did three flights of stairs at a hotel with no pain!
I'm happy with my progress. My clothing size had gone down but I was still carrying more weight than I wanted to.

I joined the Three Pillars Nutrition program with Annie in hopes to shed a few of those pounds and get on track to eat better and just feel better.
It was the second-best decision of the year!

The course is fantastic. I love the approach much better than just recording calories and macros. It really opened my eyes to how little fruit and vegetables I ate. I thought I was eating more than I was. Separating the pillars out to grams of fruits/vegetables, protein and calories (the three pillars), just really clicked for me. I finished the program and I’m still recording daily which is very unlike me.

Annie is a wonderful mentor and full of great ideas and knowledge. It’s been a great experience, and I will sign up again next time the program runs. I did manage to lose some weight but felt like my workouts didn’t suffer and still built strength. That is important because my next goal is to do a pull-up!
