It’s been one week since we discovered the vandalism of our Lizzie Van—and what a week it’s been.

The outpouring of love, concern, support, and offers of vehicle repair, loaners, and community fundraising has gone far beyond heartening. ♥️

It’s a powerful reminder that when challenges show up, our community shows up even bigger. ♥️♥️🙌🙌

There’s just something special about starting the week with friends. 💙

Monday’s Out & About crew enjoyed double the volunteers and double the fun at Pizza Ranch—pizza, arcade games, and lots of smiles to go around. 🍕🙌

We’re incredibly grateful for the amazing volunteers who made it all possible, including friends from Montana Wake Co., The Billings Career Center, MSU Billings, and MorningStar Senior Living of Billings. Your time, energy, and heart turn simple outings into meaningful moments of connection and inclusion.

If your child's medical, therapy, or equipment expenses are high, we've got good news! Children's Special Health Services is now using the 2026 Federal Poverty Guidelines to determine eligibility for the $2,000/year grants they offer for disability-related expenses for kids 21 and younger.

In 2025, a family of four could not earn more than $96,450.00 to qualify. Now, a family of four can earn up to $99,000.00 and still qualify to apply for these funds!

The application process is easy, but requires information about specific costs you need covered (co-pays, medical equipment, sensory supports, adaptive recreation equipment, etc.) and a doctor must sign off on the application.

Grateful doesn’t feel like a big enough word. When our Lizzie Van was vandalized this week, your response was swift and sure.

Thank you to everyone who stepped up with financial support, repair help, and loaner vehicles to make sure Eagle Mount programs continue without pause.

This space is usually where we share the good stuff - smiles, courage, and community.

Today’s post is different.

One of our Eagle Mount vehicles was vandalized overnight, with the gas tank drilled and fuel stolen, causing over $3,000 in damage and taking our Lizzie Van out of service until mid-February.

We adjusted and in true Eagle Mount Billings style, we made it a great day anyway - skiing at Red Lodge Mountain, golf at Back 9 Lounge, and Afterschool Out & About with Unified Eagles at Elysian School District #23

To help us pay our deductible or with ideas for a loaner vehicle, please message us. This is a setback, not a stop.
