No pain? That’s a milestone. Not the finish line. 🏁

You can be symptom-free and still rebuilding strength, balance, coordination, and endurance. Pain often settles before your tissues and movement patterns are fully ready for higher demands.

That gap is where re-injuries tend to happen.

Recovery isn’t just about getting rid of pain. It’s about restoring capacity and confidence so your body can handle what you ask of it. 💪

If you’re feeling good but unsure about returning to full activity, an assessment can help guide the next step.

Studio Pilates builds strength.
Pilates-based physical therapy rebuilds your body after injury 💡

Both use the same equipment but the approach is very different. One is fitness-focused. The other is rehab-focused and designed around your pain, history, and movement patterns.

Choosing the right one at the right time can make a big difference in your recovery.

Meet Jentry Schatz, PT, DPT 👋

Jentry earned her Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Performance from Montana State University in Billings before completing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Jamestown in Fargo, North Dakota.

Her journey into physical therapy began while volunteering with orphans in India, where she first discovered the impact rehabilitation can have on someone’s quality of life. That experience sparked a passion that continues to guide her work today.

Through her clinical training, Jentry developed a strong interest in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation. She loves helping people regain their optimal function and return to the activities that matter most to them. 💪

Outside the clinic, you’ll find her enjoying the Montana outdoors, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and snuggling her two cats. 🏔️🐾

Be sure to say hi to Jentry at your next visit!

Why you sometimes feel worse before you feel better 💪

Starting rehab and feeling sore does not automatically mean it isn’t working. When muscles haven’t been loaded in a while, reintroducing movement can create mild soreness as your body adapts and rebuilds strength.

There is a difference between normal soreness and injury pain. Mild tightness or fatigue that settles within 24 to 48 hours is expected. Sharp or worsening pain is not.

Rehab is about the right amount of challenge, not avoiding discomfort forever. Progress may not always feel easy, but it should always be controlled ✨

Those little aches aren’t random 👀

Injuries often start as mild stiffness, occasional soreness, or a small twinge. When they’re brushed off, the body adapts and compensates, which can overload other areas over time.

Catching things early helps improve movement, build strength, and prevent bigger setbacks before they happen ✨

Most gym injuries don’t happen overnight 💪

Shoulder, back, knee, and elbow pain often come from repeated stress, poor load management, or weak support muscles rather than a single lift.

Physical therapy focuses on moving better, strengthening what protects your joints, and building tolerance so you can keep training without getting stuck in the injury cycle 🏋️‍♂️
