Those little aches aren’t random 👀

Injuries often start as mild stiffness, occasional soreness, or a small twinge. When they’re brushed off, the body adapts and compensates, which can overload other areas over time.

Catching things early helps improve movement, build strength, and prevent bigger setbacks before they happen ✨

Because building trust matters just as much as showing up with expertise. 😄

Most gym injuries don’t happen overnight 💪

Shoulder, back, knee, and elbow pain often come from repeated stress, poor load management, or weak support muscles rather than a single lift.

Physical therapy focuses on moving better, strengthening what protects your joints, and building tolerance so you can keep training without getting stuck in the injury cycle 🏋️‍♂️

Meet Chase Johnston, PT, DPT at Physical Therapy in Motion 👋

After growing up in a military family and moving around the country, Chase eventually settled back in Louisianan where his journey into physical therapy began through his own experience with recurring ankle injuries from skateboarding. That curiosity turned into a passion for how functional movement can heal the body.

Chase earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Louisiana at Monroe, then completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas. He’s passionate about providing care for all patients and promoting a functional, healthy lifestyle so people can live life to the fullest. 💪

Outside the clinic, Chase enjoys playing guitar, hiking with his wife, fishing, and cheering on LSU football. 🎸🏞️🏈

💬 Be sure to say hi to Chase at your next visit!

Running does more than just get your heart rate up, it supports your body and mind in powerful ways.

It boosts cardiovascular health, builds bone density, and strengthens muscles and joints so your body stays resilient. With every run, you’re also improving balance, coordination, and endurance that carry over into daily life.

And it’s not just physical. Running supports mental health, lifts your mood, and helps promote lifelong mobility so you can keep doing what you love for years to come.

Move with purpose. Run for the long term. 🏃‍♂️💪

Overuse injuries rarely come from one big moment. They build quietly through repetition, posture, and not enough recovery.

This is your reminder to pause, switch positions, and make space for movement throughout your day. Even small adjustments, done consistently, can make a real difference in how your body feels and performs.

Your body notices the little things, take care of it. 💪

Repetitive work doesn’t usually hurt you overnight it builds quietly over time.

Your body isn’t designed for nonstop repetition. When the same tasks are done day after day without enough recovery, muscles fatigue, tendons get irritated, joints stiffen, and your body starts compensating in ways you don’t notice at first.

That’s why pain often shows up later. Your body adapts until it can’t. By the time discomfort appears, tissues may have been overloaded for weeks or even months, and simply “resting it” rarely fixes the root cause.

Overuse injuries don’t come from doing too much once. They come from doing a little too much every day without the right support.

Physical therapy helps improve strength, movement patterns, and recovery so your body can handle your work better not just today, but long term. 💪

You gave it time. You rested. You hoped it would settle on its own.

But instead of improving, it stayed the same… or kept coming back.

Physio isn’t about pushing through pain. It’s about understanding what’s really going on, getting the right guidance, and building a plan that helps you move forward with confidence.

Sometimes the smartest next step isn’t waiting longer. It’s getting the right support.
