As an official health partner of Bobcat Athletics, we’re proud to celebrate an outstanding 2025–2026 Montana State Basketball season. 🏀💛💙

We had a blast connecting with fans and showing our support for these outstanding student-athletes throughout the season. A special moment last weekend was seeing Susan Griffeth, a nurse practitioner with our Bozeman cardiology team, accept the game ball – a true honor and a great reflection of her partnership with

Now, all eyes turn to March. Best of luck to both the men’s and women’s teams as they head to Boise, Idaho with their sites on a Big Sky Conference title, and a ticket to the Big Dance. We’ll be cheering you on every step of the way!

At Intermountain Health, care is personal — and it’s often generational. 💙

Meet Dr. Cynthia Brewer, family medicine physician at our West Grand Clinic, who believes in caring for the whole patient. From understanding family history to recognizing the many factors that shape health, she takes a holistic approach that goes beyond a single visit.

“I like taking care of entire families, because caring from one family member to another you can get the whole family history.”

Dr. Brewer hopes her patients see her as empathetic, a good listener, and someone who will dig deeper — reviewing labs, imaging, and reports thoroughly — until their questions are answered.

Because great care starts with truly knowing the people and families we serve.

Colorectal cancer is now the leading cause of cancer-related death for adults under age 50 in the U.S.

While that sounds alarming, there’s also good news. Colon cancer is highly preventable and up to 90% curable when caught early. The challenge is that many people don’t get screened — often because they feel too young or don’t have symptoms.

If you’re 45 or older — or have a family history — now is the time to get screened.

A colonoscopy is the gold standard, but it’s not the only screening option. There are simple at-home stool tests that check for early signs of cancer. Talk with your primary care provider about what is right for you and take charge of your health today:

We are still glowing from this story of Larry Schlepp and our incredible Cardiac Rehab team. 💙

Larry’s story is a powerful reminder that cardiac emergencies can happen anywhere — and knowing CPR and how to use an AED can save a life. Quick action from those around him made all the difference, and our caregivers at St. Vincent helped guide him through a strong recovery.

CPR is simple to learn. AEDs are designed for anyone to use. And together, they can increase the chance of survival during cardiac arrest.

You can make a lifesaving impact too. Take a CPR class. Learn how an AED works. You never know when you might be the reason someone gets a second chance. ❤️‍🩹

Intermountain Health is proud to partner with Yellowstone County, the Shepherd Fire District, and the Worden Fire District to provide 24/7 emergency medical services (EMS) to communities in eastern Yellowstone County, including Worden and Shepherd.

Through this new agreement, Intermountain Health will staff and operate a ground ambulance service based out of the Huntley Fire Station—helping close longstanding coverage gaps and improve access to lifesaving care when it matters most.

“This community partnership allows us to bring dependable, 24/7 EMS coverage to an area that has experienced gaps, while working side by side with local fire districts and county leaders,” said Tom Matthews, EMS clinical operations manager at Intermountain Health.

The service is expected to go live July 1 and will provide primary 911 response, helping reduce emergency response times across the region. To support the expansion, Intermountain Health is hiring five paramedics and five EMTs and will purchase two ambulances from the Worden Fire District.

This agreement builds on Intermountain Health’s ongoing efforts to expand emergency and transport services across Montana—supporting rural communities and ensuring access to timely, reliable care.

“Our mission is to help people live the healthiest lives possible,” Matthews said. “Ensuring access to dependable emergency medical services is foundational to that mission, and we’re proud to work with our community partners to make this happen.” 💙

Since stepping into her role, she’s helped transform the team by leading with fairness, transparency, and open communication—shifting the workplace from “fragmented and discouraged to united and motivated.”

For Tami, the recognition is especially meaningful because it came from a fellow caregiver. She shared that the award reflects the trust, respect, and shared commitment that define how this team cares for patients and for one another.
