Early wound care helps prevent infection, reduce scarring, and speed up healing.

Autologous means the tissue or biologic product comes from the patient’s own body.

In the case of PRP at Elite Wound Care, autologous Platelet Rich Plasma is created from a small sample of the patient’s own blood. The blood is centrifuged to concentrate platelets, which are rich in growth factors, and then applied directly to the wound bed.

Today we want to take a moment to spotlight someone truly special to our clinic, Jordyn Haemmerle, the MVP of Elite Wound Care Center.

Jordyn is the heartbeat of our team and the first face you see when you walk through our doors. As a Certified Nursing Assistant with multiple specialty backgrounds, our in house phlebotomist, and the go to person for everything that keeps the clinic running smoothly, she is absolutely essential to our daily operations. Our patients trust her, adore her, and feel genuinely cared for in her presence.
