On Friday, Bob Tambo surprised his occupational therapist with a portrait, as a token of appreciation for his recovery. In February, the artist suffered from a stroke, which immobilized his hand.

Advocacy News 📣 A federal lawsuit filed late last year by 17 states sought to have Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 declared unconstitutional. Thanks to extensive advocacy efforts by AOTA and state OT associations, Section 504 is officially safe! Occupational Therapy students at Rocky Mountain College will be running a pro-bono clinic this spring! These clinics will be held on campus for children and adults who would benefit from occupational therapy services to assist them in performing occupations that are meaningful to them. Clinics will be held on Thursdays in 2024, February 22 to April 25.
