This is how quickly our industry can change. Unfortunately, harmful h**p products have ruined it for so many legitimate h**p farmers and CBD companies. Not to mention the honest retailers I know locally who have taken care and time to source their CBD products and properly educate their customers on how to use them safely. Now, this does not impact our MS medical cannabis program as far as CBD products purchased in medical cannabis dispensaries. These products are state regulated and that is different. This is not a good sign for the DEA rescheduling of cannabis. I had been hopeful, but this proves there is still overall lack of support for cannabis from lawmakers on both sides.

Congress ended the longest shutdown in U.S. history and quietly set a one-year clock on re-criminalizing most h**p products. A 0.4 mg cap, a $28 billion market on the line, and a fight that is only getting started.
