📣 Don’t be shy—your doctor can’t treat what they don’t know. If you’ve been living with leg pain, numbness, slow-healing sores, or skin changes, don’t brush them off. These may be signs of Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD).

💬 Open communication with your healthcare provider is key: ✔️ Describe when symptoms occur (walking, at rest, at night) ✔️ Mention how long you’ve had them ✔️ Share any family history of PAD, heart disease, or stroke ✔️ Tell them about lifestyle factors like smoking, exercise, or diet

🛑 PAD is treatable—especially when caught early. Speaking up today could help you avoid bigger health problems tomorrow.

Don’t wait—our team is here to listen, diagnose, and help you get back to living without limits.

🦶 Pain in your toes or feet at night when lying down? That’s not just aging—it could be a sign of Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD).

💡 When you’re lying flat, gravity isn’t helping blood flow to your legs and feet. If your arteries are narrowed, this reduced circulation can cause pain, cramping, or burning in your toes and feet. 🌙 Many people find relief when they hang their feet off the bed or get up and walk around—that’s a red flag that your blood flow is compromised.

🚨 Don’t ignore nighttime leg pain. Left untreated, PAD can lead to non-healing wounds or even limb loss. Early detection is key.

Let’s get to the bottom of it—call Duval Vascular Center for a quick, non-invasive vascular screening today. 904-518-1398

💡 Know your Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI)?
It’s one of the easiest—and most important—tests for detecting Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD).
🩺 The ABI compares the blood pressure in your ankle to the blood pressure in your arm. A lower pressure in the ankle can signal narrowed or blocked arteries in your legs.
✨ The test is:
✔️ Simple – takes only a few minutes
✔️ Painless – completely non-invasive
✔️ Accurate – helps detect PAD before it becomes severe
🛑 Early detection means early action, which can prevent serious complications like non-healing wounds or limb loss.

CTA: We’re offering free ABI screenings all month at Gulf Coast Vascular Care—book yours today and take the first step toward healthier legs.

🎉 September is PAD Awareness Month – and we’re here to make some noise about it! 🦵❤️

PAD (Peripheral Artery Disease) might sound serious (and it is), but learning about it doesn’t have to be boring. The more we know, the more we can prevent, treat, and spread hope!

✅ PAD affects blood flow in your legs
✅ It can cause leg pain, wounds that won’t heal, and increase risk for heart attack or stroke
✅ The GOOD news? PAD is treatable and manageable with the right care!

So let’s keep moving, keep smiling, and keep raising awareness together. 🙌
Because strong legs = strong life. 💪
