On this World Optometry Day, we would like to recognize our lovely optometrist Dr. Latch. She has been a crucial member of The Center for Eye Care since 2008.

Optometrists are usually the first people to catch more serious vision conditions and help diagnose them through routine eye exams. They work hand in hand with ophthalmologists and other healthcare providers to make sure patients stay happy and healthy.

February is Age Related Macular Degeneration (AMD) Awareness month. AMD is the leading cause of vision loss in people over the age of 55, often causing a blind spot in the central vision.
