FootDocs: Dr. Foreman and Dr. Austin The office of Dr. Eric Foreman and Dr. Samuel Austin Dr. Foreman attended Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine.

After graduation, he completed a residency program in Podiatric Medicine from Eastern Virginia Medical School. Furthering his education Dr. Foreman completed programs in Podiatric Surgery, as well as, a Fellowship in Diabetic Limb Salvage. Dr. Foreman is a member of the Michigan Podiatric Medical Association and the American Podiatric Medical Association. He is board certified by the America Board of Podiatric Surgery. Accomplished in all aspects of Podiatry, Dr. Foreman has a special interest in the diabetic foot, particularly pertaining to preservation of the lower extremity. He also has a special interest in pediatric foot conditions. Dr. Austin was born and raised in Metro Detroit. Growing up in St Clair Shores, MI, he attended De La Salle High School. He earned a degree in Human Biology at Michigan State University, and continued to Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago, IL. After graduation, Dr. Austin completed an intense surgical residency at Ascension Providence Southfield-Novi, MI with an emphasis on limb salvage, rearfoot/ankle reconstruction, and trauma. He served as chief resident in his final year. Today, he remains actively involved with the Ascension Providence residency program. Dr. Austin is board qualified in Foot Surgery and Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery. His special interests include minimally invasive surgery, forefoot and rearfoot elective surgery, sports medicine, limb salvage, foot and ankle trauma, wound care, and pediatric podiatric care. In his spare time, Dr. Austin enjoys watching Detroit and Michigan State sports teams, snowboarding, tennis and traveling with his girlfriend.
