Reiki Myths Debunked ✨ We asked our Members to share some of the most common myths and misconceptions they hear about Reiki. These were the top 3:

❌Myth 1: Reiki is a Religion
💚Reality: Reiki is form of hands-on therapy. It is a powerful spiritual practice, open to all.

❌Myth 2: Reiki offers a cure
💚Reality: Reiki is a complementary therapy for relaxation and wellbeing, is is not a cure, nor does it guarantee any results of outcomes.

❌Myth 3: Reiki isn't real
💚Reality: Reiki draws on the same energy principles used yoga, acupuncture & Tai Chi, sound healing and meditation.

❌Myth 4: Reiki is dangerous
💚Reality: Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive therapy. It can do no harm.
Reiki isn't manipulative or a way of controlling, it is an ancient technique for stress reduction and relaxation. Regular contact with Reiki will bring the recipient's mind, body and spirit into balance. It is an excellent support to the overall physical, mental and emotional healing process.

Because these spring-like days are temporary, they encourage us to fully experience the moment—warmth, sunlight, fresh air—without holding onto it.

Join Kim for a silent walking meditation at Union Township Loop Trail in Birdsboro, located behind Fork & Ale restaurant. The gravel trail is an easy, mostly level, 1.7 mile loop.

What is a silent walking meditation?
It is a mindfulness practice where you walk slowly and deliberately in silence, focusing your full attention on the experience of walking, breathing, and experiencing nature through your senses. It’s a way to cultivate awareness of the present moment, calm the mind, reduce stress, and connect more deeply with your body and surroundings.
Following the walk, there will be a period of sharing and reflection.

What to Bring:
an open heart
appropriate walking footwear
water
bug spray
towel, blanket or chair to sit on in the grassy area after the walk
journal and pen/pencil

We are enjoying a few days of False Spring.

False Spring happens when temperatures rise unusually high for the season, making it feel like spring has arrived early—even though winter isn’t actually over. It can bring warm sunshine and sometimes even cause plants or flowers to start budding before cold weather returns.

The colder temperatures are forecast to return later this week.
