We had an amazing time celebrating our team at Cahaba Family Fun Day this past weekend! 🎉

Our Cahaba employees and their families gathered at Shadow Lake Park at Grace Life Baptist Church for a day full of food, Kona Ice, music from a DJ, and plenty of fun activities — including dunking a few of our favorite employees in the dunk tank! 💦

Thank you to everyone who came out and spent the day with us. A big shoutout to our Community Development Team for putting together such a great event, and thank you to Grace Life Baptist Church for graciously allowing us to use the space.

Our 3rd Annual Cahaba Medical Care Disc Golf Classic was a success! ⛳️

This year’s tournament supports international medical mission trips that help shape our resident physicians through compassionate, mission-driven care.

Sponsorships from this event help fund travel, medical supplies, and hands-on training, allowing our residents to serve underserved communities around the world.

Because of the incredible support from our players, sponsors, and community, we raised over $3,200 for our residents this year!

Our Camden team had a great time serving the community at the Mark Curl BBQ Cook-Off this weekend in Camden!

Each year, Cahaba Medical Care - Camden is proud to participate in this annual event. This year, we brought our RV with an informational table, passed out Cahaba swag, and provided free drinks and snacks for the community.

We also sponsored a bounce house for the kids, helping make the day even more fun for families attending the cook-off. Events like this are a great way for us to connect with our community and share more about the services available at Cahaba.

The 3rd Annual Cahaba Disc Golf Classic is TOMORROW! 🥏

So proud of our Cahaba team for giving back to the community! 🤍

On April 11, several of our counselors volunteered at a Girls Inc. event with high school girls in Shelby County, leading a three-hour session focused on mental health awareness and self-confidence.

Participants engaged in meaningful activities including a Mirror Reflection exercise, self-awareness Jenga, and exchanging affirmation bracelets, encouraging honest conversations about self-perception and learning how to speak more kindly to themselves.

A big thank you to MyCaya Jones, Brianna Bush, April Childs, Ebonie Banks, Carmesia Jackson, and Makayla Hindman, our counseling intern for Urban SBHC for creating the entire activity agenda and dedicating their time to support and empower the next generation. 👏🏼
