We were proud to be a part of the Kidney Patient Education Conference with the Alabama Kidney Foundation yesterday! It was so nice to meet with patients and caregivers. We enjoyed answering questions and giving out goodies. Dr. Tom Watson spoke at the event and also joined in for a Q & A session with the attendees. It was a very informative conference.

Please welcome our new Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner, Monica Hamrick!

Monica is an Alabama native with a strong background in nephrology, having worked in the field since 2003. She earned her Associate of Science from Bevill State Community College in 2002, followed by a Master of Health Administration in May 2012 and a Master of Science in August 2024, both from the University of Phoenix.

As a certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Monica is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. She actively participates in professional organizations, including the American Nephrology Nurses Association and the Central Alabama Nurse Practitioner Association, reflecting her commitment to ongoing professional growth and the nephrology community.
