Alabama Eye & Cataract Center, P.C. is conveniently located at UAB Highlands on the campus of The University of Alabama in Birmingham Medical Center and offers eye care including comprehensive eye exams for eye health & vision, cataract surgery & lens lmplants (IOL) and advanced diagnosis and consultation for complex cataract surgery. Our eye physicians and surgeons are cataract surgeons who are available for patients in need of consultation for complex eye disease and vision problems associated with prior cataract or LASIK surgery performed elsewhere.

Marc Michelson, M.D. is a board certified fellowship-trained subspecialist in the areas of corneal diseases and surgery, cataract surgery & lens implants and refractive surgery.

Jennifer Michelson, M.D. is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who performs refractive cataract & lens implant surgery.

Drs. Marc and Jennifer Michelson provide cataract surgery and lens implant in a comfortable and convenient outpatient ambulatory surgery center using a “no stitch, no patch, no injection” eye surgery procedure. They specialize in vision correction after cataract surgery with lens implants such as toric lens implants to correct astigmatism and near vision correcting cataract lens implants such as the ReSTOR® Multifocal Lens Implant, the AcrySof® IQ PanOptix™ Presbyopia-Correcting Intraocular Lens (IOL).
