Appreciation to the Young Family
On Behalf of the Management and Staff of Arrington Funeral Home

The Management and Staff of Arrington Funeral Home extend our sincere appreciation to the Young Family for the trust you have placed in us during the passing of your beloved Mr. Aldozie Young, Sr.

It has been our distinct honor to serve a family whose patriarch lived a life marked by faithfulness, devotion, and quiet strength. From his early years in Wetumpka, Alabama, to making Birmingham his home at the age of 25, Mr. Young built a life grounded in hard work and commitment. His 40 years of dedicated service with Wilson Meat Packing Company reflect the kind of reliability and integrity that defined his character.

We celebrate the beautiful love story he shared with his beloved wife, Mary Portis Young. Their union on August 29, 1954, after a brief courtship, blossomed into a lifetime of devotion a testament to enduring love and partnership.

Mr. Young’s gift for working with his hands, his enjoyment of tinkering and fixing, and especially his love for cooking for his family, revealed a man who expressed care not only through words, but through action. His meals were more than food they were expressions of pride, affection, and deep family connection.

As you honor his memory, we pray that you find comfort in the legacy he leaves behind a legacy of commitment, craftsmanship, love, and unwavering devotion to family. Thank you for allowing us to walk beside you in celebrating his remarkable life.

May God grant you peace and strength in the days ahead.
With heartfelt sympathy and gratitude,

The Management and Staff

Appreciation to the Bledsoe Family
On Behalf of the Management and Staff of Arrington Funeral Home

The Management and Staff of Arrington Funeral Home extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Bledsoe Family for entrusting us with the care and service of your beloved, Mr. Harold Leon “Jed” Bledsoe.

It has been our honor to serve a family whose patriarch exemplified strength, discipline, faith, and unwavering dedication. Mr. Bledsoe’s life reflects a legacy of service to his country, his church, his profession, and most importantly, his family. From his early commitment to Christ and faithful membership at Enon United Methodist Church, to his distinguished service in the United States Army, and his lifelong work in education and mentorship, his impact will be felt for generations.

We recognize and celebrate the remarkable life he built as a scholar, a veteran, an educator, a mentor, a devoted husband and a loving father. His gentle spirit and steady presence were evident not only in his family, but throughout the community he so faithfully served.

During this time of transition, we pray that you find comfort in the legacy of purpose, service, and love that Mr. Bledsoe leaves behind. Thank you for allowing us to walk alongside you in honoring his life and memory.

May God continue to strengthen and sustain you.

An Appreciation
From Arrington Funeral Home
Management and Staff

To the Family of Mr. Joshua Jamal Foy
Some lives, though far too brief, leave an everlasting imprint on the hearts of all who were blessed to know them.

Joshua Jamal Foy, affectionately known as “Jay,” was one such soul. From his warm spirit and infectious smile to his courageous faith and perseverance, Jay’s life was a testimony of strength, love, and grace.

Though he fought valiantly against Multiple Sclerosis, he never allowed his battle to overshadow his joy, his kindness, or his unwavering trust in God.

Arrington Funeral Home is honored to serve the Foy family during this time of bereavement. This service holds a special place in our hearts, as Mr. Foy is the beloved grandson of our own Ms. Cleo Hogan, a cherished member of the Arrington family. We stand not only as professionals, but as extended family, sharing in your sorrow and lifting you in prayer.

May you find comfort in knowing that Jay has finished his course, kept the faith, and now rests peacefully in the loving arms of our Lord. His memory will forever live on through the love he gave, the laughter he shared, and the lives he touched.
With deepest sympathy, compassion, and heartfelt prayers,

To the Family of Ms. Regina Arrington

Some people we will never forget.
What if you met someone who always greeted you with warmth?
What if you spoke to someone who always had a kind word to share?
What if, when help was needed, that person was consistently present quietly, faithfully, and with love?

Could you ever forget someone like that?

So it was with Ms. Regina Arrington.

Her life was a reflection of grace, compassion, and strength. Through her smile, her words, and her actions, she touched the lives of many and left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Though her physical presence is no longer with us, her spirit, her love, and her legacy will remain forever in the hearts of her family, friends, and community.

On behalf of Arrington Funeral Home, we extend our deepest sympathy and sincere appreciation to the family for allowing us to serve during this time of bereavement. It has been our honor to walk with you as you celebrate a life well lived and lovingly remembered.

May you find comfort in cherished memories and strength in the love that surrounds you.
