As part of Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month, we’re continuing to highlight therapies that play an important role in supporting people living with multiple sclerosis (MS).

Tysabri is indicated for relapsing forms of MS and works by helping keep certain immune cells in the bloodstream and out of the central nervous system, where they can contribute to inflammation and symptom activity. With a once monthly infusion schedule, it provides a consistent treatment option that many patients and providers incorporate into long term care plans.

At CRx, specialty pharmacy support goes beyond medication access. We coordinate infusion scheduling, communicate closely with providers, and help patients stay on track with therapy through ongoing guidance and support. In recognition of this day, we’re highlighting a pioneering woman in science, Gertrude B. Elion. At a time when women were rarely represented in scientific research, her persistence and innovation helped shape modern medicine. Her groundbreaking work in drug development led to treatments that transformed care for life-threatening illnesses, including leukemia, and earned her the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1988.

We provide home infusion therapies and services to hundreds of patients each month and support them in their care and recovery through all phases of the healthcare continuum.

PATIENT CARE

Our clinical team works closely with your providers to determine the right setting of care, to deliver the appropriate level of education and training, and to support you during your therapy. We have access to a broad range of alternate site options that allow you to continue your treatment and to live life to its fullest.
