Through activity, research and advocacy, we provide opportunities for people with a physical disability or chronic health condition to pursue a healthy, active lifestyle. Lakeshore Foundation is a fitness, recreation, sport, research and advocacy organization for people with physical disabilities located in Birmingham, AL. Lakeshore's Lima Foxtrot programs serve our nation's injured military.

What a great first day of 2025! All 6 teams came to play and gave it their all throughout the day. Be sure to head to lakeshore.org/slamintheham2025 for a full recap of the day's scores, and come out tomorrow to cheer on all the teams in their final games. The game between the Lakeshore Charge and Atlanta Sting at 9:30 a.m. will also be livestreamed on our YouTube channel.

Wow, Lakeshore — we asked and you delivered!

The community response to our food drive and Forgotten Angels tree has been absolutely phenomenal. In total, 129 gifts and 98 coats were donated for 227 children, and a total of 982 pounds of food were donated. Thank you to everyone who donated and helped bring some holiday cheer to local families!
