The annual Valentine Dinner is always a heartwarming celebration. Each resident was presented with a rose at their table setting and enjoyed harp and piano music throughout the meal, filling the air with love. Chef Markiese and his staff shine on these special occasions.

The Memory Care Valentine's party included a valentine exchange, dancing, a tour of the door decorations, and savory snacks. Selecting the best decorated door presented a challenge for the judges. Thanks to all who played a role in making this event a success.

The Lost Penny Hunt was a great success, with residents actively searching for hidden pennies throughout the community. (There are still some lost pennies somewhere in the community)! Notably, two residents followed the organizer, attempting to locate the concealed coins. At 3:30 residents and our furry friend, Baron, gathered to count their collected pennies and compete for prizes. The results yielded a tie for first place between two teams, consisting of Mary Oppelt and Pat Toney as Team 1, and Pam Clark as Team 2. Each winning team member received a prize, and all other participants were awarded flowers.

The Lost Penny hunt is underway. Residents are thoroughly examining the community for hidden pennies, armed with 10 clues regarding their whereabouts. For example, the phrase “Knowledge is Power” suggests that pennies are hidden in the library. Similarly, the hint “A splashing good time happens here” indicates that pennies are concealed in the heated pool area.
Interestingly, pennies are no longer available for purchase from banks, as production has ceased, rendering them difficult to obtain.
The residents who collect the most pennies throughout the day will be awarded prizes
