We are excited to announce a new addition to our community class schedule: “Feed That Baby!”

Feeding a baby is a team effort, and there’s no one “right” way to do it. Our hands‑on class, led by a doula and lactation educator, offers practical education on breastfeeding, hand‑expression, and paced bottle feeding. This class is for pregnant and postpartum people and their support networks, this class helps families build skills and confidence to support feeding choices from day one.

Our first class will be Saturday, March 7th from 10am-12pm at Bama Health Foods (located at 1923 Bessemer Rd, Birmingham, AL 35208)

Are you interested in becoming a doula but cost is a barrier? Consider applying for our work-study program!

In this program, you receive free or reduced cost doula training, and mentoring from experienced doulas. After your training, we match you with 1-3 of our clients to provide them birth doula support allowing you to gain real-world experience while providing meaningful birth support to families in your community.

We had the best time at our 9th Annual Doula Retreat! We had a day full of educational panels, intentional movement sessions, self-care, and meaningful networking.
