Happy Thanksgiving from ARMS!

We are grateful for our patients, staff, and community who make our mission possible every day. From our ARMS family to yours — Happy Thanksgiving! ❤️

In observance of the holiday, all Alabama Regional Medical Services (ARMS) clinics and offices will be closed on Thursday, November 27th, and Friday, November 28th.

ARMS will reopen on Monday, December 1st, during normal business hours. Wishing you a safe, healthy, and joyful holiday with your loved ones!

Earlier today, U.S. Rep. Terri Sewell (AL-07) hosted a “Power in Purple” Pancreatic Cancer Roundtable at the Jefferson County Health Department in observance of Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month, where ARMS Chief Medical Officer Dr. Erika Harris joined researchers, medical professionals, industry partners, advocates, and impacted families to discuss advancements in prevention, early detection, and treatment, as well as Rep. Sewell’s bipartisan efforts to expand access to cutting-edge cancer screenings for America’s seniors.

Alabama Regional Medical Services successfully conducted our 2025 ARMS Turkey Giveaway today, as we distributed turkeys to patients in need through a smooth drive-up process at our Metro Health Center. We were grateful to connect with so many of our patients and provide a little extra support for the holiday season. Thank you to everyone who participated—wishing you all a safe, healthy, and happy holiday.

Pick-up is today, Monday, Nov. 24th, 10–11 a.m. at the Metro Health Center, 712 25th St. North.

Alabama Regional Medical Services is offering a limited number of turkeys to current ARMS patients who are experiencing need this holiday season. If you would like to receive a turkey, or if you know an ARMS patient who may be in need, you must email us today at marketing@ARMS.HEALTHCARE
or call (205) 215-8441 for more information. Turkeys will be reserved on a first-confirmed basis, and pick-up will take place on Monday, November 24th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at our Metro Health Center, located at 712 25th Street North, Birmingham, AL 35203.
