Free Community Training Opportunity

Alabama Regional Medical Services (ARMS) is proud to partner with HUB Worldwide and GoRescue to bring First Aid for Severe Trauma (FAST) Training to the Birmingham community.

Saturday, March 28
1:30 PM
Greater Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church

This free 2.5-hour training will teach participants how to respond to severe trauma and emergency situations.

Participants will receive a $20 gift card, child care will be provided (ages 4–10), and a certificate will be issued upon completion. Priority will be given to Birmingham residents.

Rare Disease Day is a time to raise awareness and show support for individuals and families living with rare diseases — and to recognize the strength it takes to navigate complex health challenges.

Some rare conditions you may have heard of include sickle cell disease, cystic fibrosis, lupus, ALS, and muscular dystrophy. While each diagnosis is different, many patients share similar challenges: long waits for answers, limited specialists, and ongoing care needs.
