We loved spending the day onsite with yesterday. Patients came by before work, throughout the morning, and on their lunch breaks to learn about Catalyst and receive free clinical-grade genetic testing, and we are so grateful to their amazing providers and staff for welcoming us into their clinic. Moments like this show the power of meeting people where they are and supporting communities right in their own neighborhoods. 💜🧬

What an incredible weekend at the 1st Annual Birmingham Black Men’s Wellness Day at Railroad Park. Our Catalyst team showed up proud to support a movement focused on prevention, empowerment, and community strength.

We loved meeting everyone, answering questions, and sharing how free clinical-grade genetic testing can help individuals take charge of their health and their future.

Huge thank-you to the African American Male Wellness Agency for bringing this event to Birmingham and creating a space where Black men’s health is celebrated, uplifted, and prioritized.

The takeaway of the day: Get checked out, not checked in.

Kickin’ It with Catalyst brought UAB students together for an afternoon of kickball, community, and great conversations. Olivia did an incredible job creating a space where students could connect, learn about their health, and grab a free coffee on the way. We’re truly grateful for our ambassadors and the heart they put into engaging students and bringing Catalyst to campus.

What a weekend at the Magic City Classic! ♥️🏈💛

Our Catalyst team was proud to sponsor and celebrate one of Alabama’s most cherished traditions — a week filled with joy, connection, and community spirit. From the Encompass Luncheon and Disney on the Yard to the pep rally, tailgating, and the big game, every moment reflected what makes this event so special.

The Magic City Classic is more than football — it’s a celebration of heritage, pride, and togetherness that unites generations across our state. We’re honored to be part of something that uplifts communities and creates space for stories, voices, and traditions that continue to shape Alabama.

Yesterday, our Southern Research STEM Education team presented at the Alabama A+ College Ready Fall Workshop in Tuscaloosa, leading an interactive activity on polygenic risk scores and social factors—inspired by our Catalyst program!

The Catalyst team joined on-site to provide free genetic testing and share real-world applications of precision medicine with Alabama teachers. 🧬

We love seeing our SR teams collaborate to bring science to life and empower educators across the state!

What a night! 🏀 Our Catalyst team had an incredible time at the Pelicans vs. Rockets game—meeting people where they are, enrolling participants, collecting samples on site, and handing out some awesome free gear. Huge thanks to everyone who stopped by our activation! We loved being part of such an exciting night for the NBA right here in Birmingham. 💥
