Oasis helps women, children & families heal, grow & overcome difficult life challenges through affordable mental health counseling in a safe, nurturing environment. Oasis provides high-quality, affordable, mental health counseling to women, children and families who do not have adequate resources to obtain care from private practitioners. Oasis fills a critical gap in care for these women with limited incomes who could not otherwise afford vital mental health services. One of the few counseling centers in the state of Alabama devoted exclusively to women and children, Oasis provides:

• Services to women throughout their life span, all on a sliding fee scale. Individual, group, family, and play therapy.

• Innovative educational groups.

• A safe, peaceful, home-like environment in which women and children can heal and grow.

• For women and children in Birmingham and surrounding areas, Oasis is a welcomed resource of service and hope.
