Allen Health & Rehabilitation would like to recognize three staff members who were "Caught Making a Difference!" The director of activities recognized CNA James for always being willing to assist residents to and from activities, especially on weekends. Director of social services recognized Social Services Assistant Robinson for planning and overseeing the Angel Tree project. Assistant Vice President Crystal Blackwell-Arthur recognized Business Office Manager Jackson for going above and beyond to assist Executive Director Patricia James and director of nursing with admissions. Each celebrant was pinned with a red heart that states, "you make a difference." Jackson also received her first-year anniversary pin. Thank you to all of the celebrants who serve with HEART❤️ and making a difference in the lives of a residents, families, and each other.

We enjoyed Allen Health & Rehabilitation's annual Christmas party for residents and families. We started out with Christmas songs on the piano by our activities director. Then the music advanced to Boots on the Ground, and several residents danced and invited Executive Director Patricia James to join them. The joy and laughter were such blessings! No party would be complete without a visit from Santa, and Old Saint Nick showed up with gifts for all residents. Special shout out to the entire team at Allen for demonstrating the mission of compassion and teamwork. Thanks to all of the vendors, sponsors, families and staff who contributed to this great day of merriment. From our ❤️ heart to yours, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
