The smiles. The stories. The purple. The purpose.
Every step felt like a promise to keep fighting for our residents, our families, and every loved one touched by Alzheimer’s. We walked in honor. We walked in hope. We walked in love.
Thank you to every resident, family member, staff member, and community partner who stepped beside us today.

Allen Health & Rehabilitation residents and staff were presented with certificates and pins for their service in the military. Thank you to Community Hospice for sponsoring this great event as an early Veteran Day celebration. We appreciate and will never forget the sacrifices that our veterans have made to protect our nation's freedom. Thank you!

Eastern Shore residents celebrated Halloween with a party and good music, nachos, dancing, and Halloween bingo! Employees also enjoyed Halloween celebrations. A few nurses took cooked lunch for their fellow employees and had some good treats and giveaways! Nobody does it like Eastern Shore!!

Allen Health & Rehabilitation residents trick-or-treated with W.H. Council Elementary School. This is an annual tradition, and the reactions are absolutely joyous for kids and residents alike. Shout out to our Activity Director Kimberly Patterson, the wonderful “Allen Team,” teachers and family members for making this a tradition of magic for both the elderly and the kids.

The Village at Cook Springs had a great time with its resident Halloween fashion show and with its Trunk or Treat event for the community! It was inspiring to see how many people in our facility and in the communtiy came out in the cold to celebrate Halloween. Our residents ooh’ed and ah’d over the kids’ costumes while handing out candy. No comment on how much candy the residents ate in between trick-or-treaters!

Extendicare had our annual Halloween Party! There were many celebrity sightings such as Prince and Dolly Parton. We even thought Dennis Stewart was in attendance, but turns out it was just Daniel in IT.
