Eastern Shore was honored to celebrate Carol Richardson's 50 YEARS OF SERVICE as a CNA in our facility. When she arrived, the facility was known as Villa Mercy, and she has been a wonderful constant through name changes, arrivals, departures, and shifting healthcare trends.
“Through it all, Ms. Carol has been a steady, comforting presence,” Eastern Shore Executive Director Sharon Sanders said at the celebration. “To countless residents, Ms. Carol was not just a caregiver, but a familiar face, a source of reassurance, a patient listener, and sometimes, a lifeline.”
CNAs do some of the most important and most challenging work in healthcare, and we are so fortunate that Ms. Carol consistently rises to the task with compassion, patience and skill.

Easter was beautifully celebrated at Spring Terrace Assisted Living Community and Sylacauga Health & Rehab with a festive egg hunt that brought joy, laughter, and togetherness to our community.

Congratulations to Hopper, Emersyn, Alivia, and Geo, with Geo finding the Golden Eggs. A special congratulations as well to our Easter Basket Giveaway winners, Collins and Miguel.

Allen Health & Rehabilitation's annual Easter tradition was a great success. The residents hunted for 100 eggs with treats inside and the golden egg with $100 funny money. Lots of laughs and they had a blast - thank you to ACG Hospice who donated the cupcakes. Also, residents dyed eggs while Activities Director Kimberly Patterson read to the residents and there was such a sweet discussion about Easter. Thank you to The University of South Alabama student, Ava, who was a phenomenal help today with all recreational activities. The residents love her, and we are grateful for the collaboration with USA College of Education and Professional Studies. Happy Easter❤️

Fairhope Health and Rehabilitation residents enjoyed a fun-filled game of bingo with lots of laughter and prizes, all led by Ann, an RN Consultant with Gentiva Hospice. And the Easter Bunny, its giant egg, and a special little helper stopped by to visit. Fairhope Health and Rehabilitation patients were blessed to enjoy a wonderful Good Friday service with Pastor Mike and Mr. Dan. The service began with songs that blessed the soul and filled the room with laughter and cheer. Pastor Mike then shared a heartfelt message about redemption. A special thank you to Pastor Mike and Mr. Dan for such a meaningful and uplifting Good Friday service.
