We are seeking an experienced and reliable Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in patient triage, minor surgical procedures, front desk, making appointments, answering phone calls, and preparing charts for our surgeons. Someone with eClinical Works experience is a plus, but not necessary. This employee would travel from our East location to our Pell City location three afternoons a week. Eastern Surgical Associates, P.C. welcomes Dr. Justin E. Hughes. Dr. Hughes earned his undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Alabama. He attended the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile. He completed his general surgery residency at East Tennessee State University in 2023 where he served as the administrative chief resident. Dr. Hughes has special interest in minimally invasive and robotic surgery. He and his wife live in Trussville and just had their first child. He enjoys kayaking, hiking, running with his dog, competitive sports, Alabama football, and a tall glass of iced tea.

He is now accepting Blue Cross and Blue Shield, United Health Care, Medicare and Medicaid.

Eastern Surgical Associates, PC proudly announces our affiliation with Ascension St. Vincent's Blount Wound Clinic. The wound clinic opened officially September 8th 2022 in our office in Oneonta. We are excited to be able to assist patients in this area.
