Postgame, Dr. Jeff Dugas and our 2024–2025 fellows — Dr. Austin Broussard and Dr. Brandon Block — enjoyed reconnecting with two of our ASMI fellowship alumni on the Georgia State sideline: Dr. John Andrachuk (Orthopaedic Surgery Fellowship) and Dr. Joseph Powers (Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship).

Both are now part of Northside Hospital Orthopedics in Atlanta, continuing the Andrews/ASMI fellowship program legacy of excellence in athlete care.

We were honored to participate alongside American Sports Medicine Institute in welcoming James R. Andrews, MD earlier this week for the ASMI Distinguished Lecture Series at the Bruno Conference Center.

Dr. Andrews delivered an insightful presentation on “Considerations in Caring for the Professional Athlete,” sharing decades of experience, stories from the sidelines, and invaluable guidance for clinicians in sports medicine.
