The Hub is a welcoming, comfortable space for young gay, bisexual and Trans men. Many may refer to the center as a "SAFE HAVEN".

El Centro/The HUB is a Prevention Department initiative at AIDS Alabama, Inc., designed to provide an inclusive and welcoming space for individuals from diverse backgrounds who seek to enhance their understanding of sexual health. Its a place for the guys to relax, connect, build a support system, and have fun, while at the same time providing opportunities for them to set and achieve goals, and enhance their HIV/STI knowledge and risk reduction behaviors through education & positive initiatives led by members of the community themselves.

🎤 How It Works:
Registration happens in person on the night of the event. We only accept 10 acts per night, with a strict 5-minute limit per act (PG-13 content only). The audience votes for their favorites, sending the winner and runner-up from each heat straight to the finals!

🏆 Grand Prize:
Walk away with cash, a shiny new trophy, and a guaranteed Main Stage performance at Pridefest!

Registration happens in person on the night of the event. We only accept 10 acts per night, and you get a maximum of 5 minutes to impress the room (keep it PG-13, please!). The audience acts as the judges—the winner and runner-up from each heat will move directly on to the finals.

Walk away with cash, a shiny new trophy, and a featured performance on the Main Stage at Pridefest!

Today is National Native HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NNHAAD), a day to raise awareness about the impact of HIV on Native communities, including American Indians, Alaska Natives, and Native Hawaiians. It is also a time to uplift the importance of HIV education, testing, prevention, and care.
