"Everything looks normal."

If you’ve heard this from your doctor but your body is telling you a different story, you aren't alone. Standard yearly labs are great for catching disease, but they often miss the subtle signals of how your body is actually functioning day-to-day.

That’s where specialized testing: like RBTI chemistry: comes in.

Think of standard bloodwork like a snapshot. It tells us where you are in one single moment. But specialized testing? That’s more like the movie. It helps us see the patterns: how you're absorbing nutrients, how your hormones are actually moving, and why you feel the way you do even when the "numbers" say you’re fine.

It’s about moving past the guessing game and finding the clarity you’ve been searching for. No more chasing symptoms or generic plans: just a step-by-step guide tailored to your unique body chemistry.

If you’re ready for a deeper look, let’s talk.

The weekend is finally here, and while it’s a time to slow down, your body’s natural detox system is still hard at work.

If you’ve been feeling a bit sluggish or like your hormones are out of sync, here’s a simple way to "Elev8" your Saturday and Sunday: Focus on one extra serving of fiber at every meal.

Why fiber? It’s the "broom" that helps sweep out excess estrogen and toxins that your liver has already processed. Without enough of it, those hormones can get recycled back into your system, leading to that heavy, "blah" feeling.

Think raspberries in your morning yogurt, a big handful of greens with lunch, or some roasted broccoli with dinner. It doesn’t have to be a complicated "cleanse": just one small addition to help your body do what it already knows how to do.

Let’s head into Monday feeling refreshed, not depleted.

What’s one high-fiber food you’re adding to your plate this weekend?

Ever feel like a different person depending on the week of the month? It’s not just in your head: it’s in your chemistry.

Most of us were taught to show up the same way every single day. But as women, our internal "chemistry lab" is constantly shifting. One week you’re fueled by rising estrogen, feeling energized and social. Two weeks later, progesterone takes the lead, asking your body to slow down, prioritize rest, and maybe reach for a few more nourishing carbohydrates to support your metabolism.

Cycle syncing isn't about following a rigid set of rules. It’s about listening to the signals your body is already sending. When we understand the "why" behind our energy shifts or cravings, we can stop fighting ourselves and start supporting our natural rhythm.

If you’ve felt frustrated that your routine works one week but leaves you depleted the next, it might be time to look at the patterns. Your body isn't broken; it's just speaking a different language each week.

Let’s gain some clarity together.

One of the most powerful conversations happening in health right now isn’t about calories…

It’s about mitochondria, muscle, and cellular energy.

I’ve been studying the metabolic pathways behind longevity — specifically AMPK activation, ATP production, and how the body decides when to burn fat versus store it.

What’s fascinating is how this applies to so many of our clients:

• Weight loss resistance
• Hormone imbalance
• Chronic fatigue
• Detox congestion
• Inflammation
• Sarcopenia (muscle loss)

True metabolic healing isn’t just about eating less — it’s about building the body’s energy systems so it can function, repair, and burn efficiently.

This is where integration matters.

On the podcast, Matt and I talk about how medical interventions (like IV and hormone therapy) can work hand-in-hand with functional strategies like:

• Muscle preservation
• Mitochondrial support
• Mineral repletion
• Detox pathways
• Nutritional terrain building

Because we’re not just chasing weight loss…

We’re building metabolic resilience for the long term.

If you’ve ever felt like your body isn’t responding the way it should — there’s always a deeper metabolic story underneath it.

And that’s exactly where our work begins.

✨ Real-Time Healing: What Balance Actually Looks Like ✨

I want to share something important about how the body really heals — because it doesn’t always look the way people expect.

This is a snapshot of a client’s progress, based on two urine tests taken a couple weeks apart.

When she first came in, she felt:
• completely ramped up
• exhausted but wired
• libido almost nonexistent
• emotions all over the place
• like her body was constantly pushing just to survive

On paper, her body was doing what stressed bodies do:
• dumping glucose for emergency energy
• running high salts
• elevated ureas
• elevated albumin
• a big gap between saliva and urine pH

In simple terms:
Her body was working overtime with no reserves.
No minerals. No safety. Just survival mode.

🧠 Here’s the part people miss

After slowing things down, supporting minerals, hydration, digestion, and not forcing detox…

She started to feel better:
• back pain easing
• libido returning
• emotions stabilizing
• sleep regulating
• hot flashes calming

And here’s the key:
Her numbers didn’t “skyrocket into perfect” — they came into sync.

🚰 Think of your body like a sink

Before:
• the faucet (stress hormones) was blasting
• the drain (liver + kidneys) was clogged
• water was splashing everywhere

Now:
• the faucet is turned down
• the drain is open
• water is flowing smoothly

That’s what balance looks like.

📊 What changed in her numbers (in plain language)
• pH: still on the higher side, but now working together
→ upper and lower digestion are communicating
• Ureas: still a little elevated, but matched
→ liver is breaking protein down
→ kidneys are flushing it out
→ they’re working as a team
• Albumin: stable
→ blood proteins are staying where they belong
• Sugar: normalized
→ adrenals aren’t panicking anymore

This is not breakdown.
This is coordination.

⚖️ An important expectation

Healing is not a straight line.

As the body feels safer:
• the lymphatic system starts to move
• deeper cleanup begins
• some numbers may rise or shift temporarily

That doesn’t mean things are going wrong.
It means new systems are coming online.

What we watch for isn’t “perfect numbers” — it’s pattern.

And the pattern we want is:
• pH moving together
• liver and kidneys filtering together
• energy stabilizing
• symptoms improving

When systems move in tandem, the body knows what to do next.

💡 The big takeaway

Healing isn’t about forcing the body.
It’s about helping systems work together again.

When that happens:
• numbers may ebb and flow
• but balance remains

And balance is where real healing sticks.

This is what progress actually looks like. 💛

Yesterday was such a fun and meaningful day. Matt and I had the opportunity to sit down and record a podcast with Dawn Gagye, and it brought so much clarity to the path we’re walking.

We have been called to serve people who have taken many different roads to get here. In a world that constantly pushes more productivity, more protocols, and more “do,” it is an honor to serve in a way that allows us to slow down, truly see the person in front of us, and care for the whole person — start to finish, one-on-one.

It’s easy to get stuck in a cycle of “do more, add more, see more.” Instead, we choose to slow down — to really see the person in front of us, ask thoughtful questions, and understand what’s happening inside the body rather than simply chasing symptoms.

Yesterday was a beautiful opportunity to show up and share the heart behind what we do — and why we believe caring for the whole person matters so much.

More to come from this conversation. 🎙️

If I could go back and give myself one piece of advice about healthcare, it would be this: no one is a better advocate for your body than you are. Most people, including myself years ago, feel intimidated or brushed off when their labs look "normal" but something just isn't right.

Now, I tell my clients: trust your instincts. Ask questions. Keep pushing for answers: even if you’ve been searching for years. It’s your right to understand your symptoms and find a personalized path. You deserve providers who listen, observe, and guide you step by step, not just chase symptoms or offer generic plans.

Have you ever had to speak up for yourself in healthcare? Share your experience below( your story could inspire someone else.)

Ever been tempted by a 7-day juice cleanse or a trendy detox tea? I used to think "the harsher, the better!" But my own health journey taught me: our bodies: and especially our livers: don’t need punishment, they need support.

It was only when I switched from extreme detoxes to gentle, daily habits (think nourishing foods, hydration, and letting my liver do its thing) that I actually felt better. No more crashes. No more frustration. True healing doesn’t come from fads: it comes from listening, supporting, and giving your body time to restore naturally.

Have you tried harsh detoxes, or found ways to gently support your liver? Let’s get real: share your experience or ask your questions below!

Ever felt like you’re “too young” for hot flashes, mood swings, or wild hormonal changes? You’re not imagining it. More women are experiencing perimenopause in their 30s: and here’s what most conventional doctors miss:

Traditional medicine often relies on age and “normal” lab results, but your body’s signals tell the real story. Early hormone shifts are real, especially with today’s stress, environment, and modern pace.

At Elev8 Your Health, we listen closely, assess real-time body function, and honor your symptoms: even when the labs look “perfect.”

Ever wondered why hormone struggles can feel so overwhelming? Here’s the game-changer that shifted my whole perspective: your gut and your brain are in constant conversation, and your hormones are right in the middle of the chat!

When I learned that stress, anxiety, and even those pesky hormone symptoms can often start with what’s happening in our digestive system, it finally made sense why "fixing hormones" isn’t just about hormones. If your gut isn’t happy, your brain: and your hormones: won’t be either.

If you’re feeling moody, foggy, or just "off," you’re not alone. Real answers start with understanding what your body is actually saying. There is hope. You can reclaim balance: step by step, together.

Ever get those "normal" lab results, but deep down, you know your body isn’t thriving? That was me, sitting in front of another stack of paper, wondering, “If everything looks good, why do I still feel bad?”

It was my aha moment: the realization that conventional labs just skim the surface. They don’t always tune in to the patterns, chemistry, and real-time messages our bodies send. Once I started looking deeper through RBTI and functional nutrition, suddenly, the missing pieces came into focus.

If you’re feeling dismissed or lost in the process, you’re not alone. There’s a gentler, more validating way forward: and you don’t have to navigate it alone. Let’s move from confusion to clarity, together.
