Just kidding đť Halloween myth busted! The âsugar rushâ isnât realâscience shows that sugar doesnât actually cause hyperactivity in kids. What youâre seeing on Halloween night? Thatâs pure excitement, fun, and maybe staying up past bedtime!
But while candy wonât make your child bounce off the walls, too much of it can lead to a stomach ache. Here are some smart tips to keep Halloween fun without the tummy trouble:
đŹ Feed them a good meal before trick-or-treating to discourage constant sampling
đŹ Set realistic candy limits togetherâration treats over the days and weeks following Halloween
đŹ Keep hard candies, popcorn, and gummy candies away from babies and toddlers (choking hazard!)
