County Commissioner Lashunda Scales recently hosted a powerful and engaging town hall meeting at the Northeast Community YMCA, bringing the community together for meaningful conversation and connection.

Residents had the opportunity to voice concerns, ask questions, and stay informed about important issues impacting our county. It was an evening filled with transparency, collaboration, and a shared commitment to progress.

💛 Living Testimony 💛

Ms. Doris Jolly, a loyal and supportive YMCA participant, joined us for exercise and fellowship in our Chair Aerobics class—and she continues to inspire us all! At 94 years young, she remains active, engaged, and full of life.

We truly love and appreciate Ms. Jolly for her continued support and dedication. She is a shining example that it’s never too late to stay active, connect with others, and prioritize your health.

Her presence reminds us all: no matter where you are in life, keep moving, keep showing up, and keep inspiring others. 💪🏾✨

Also we would like thank Jolly Cakes for the preparation of the delicious treats for the class participants.
