Screen Time Is Changing Our Relationships — and Not Always in Ways We Notice.

We’re more connected than ever…
yet many people are feeling more distant, misunderstood, or alone.

Excessive or unintentional screen time can quietly affect:
• Friendships
• Romantic relationships
• Parent-child connection
• Emotional presence and communication

At Heart and Mind Counseling, we’re seeing how technology habits show up in therapy — from couples feeling disconnected, to parents struggling to stay emotionally present, to adults navigating loneliness despite constant digital contact.

The good news?
Awareness + support can make a real difference.

🧠 Therapy can help you:
• Understand how screen habits affect connection
• Set healthier boundaries with technology
• Improve communication and emotional presence
• Rebuild meaningful relationships

👉 We just published a new blog exploring this topic in depth.
