How long have you been with The Eye Clinic of North Dakota?
"I've been here quite a while. I started with the clinic in August 2000. We've seen lots of changes in eye care since then!"

What is your favorite thing about being an optometrist?
"It is exciting to see how the work we do affects the lives of our patients. It's great when someone can continue a hobby they love because we were able to improve their eye sight.”

What is one thing you wish all patients would know about eye health?
"That the choices we make everyday impact our eyes. Eating a healthy diet, exercising, and wearing eye protection are all things that can help keep your eyes healthy for your whole life."

What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?
"I love hunting, fishing, and golfing."

"I started at the clinic on August 1st, 1991, so 32 years and 5 months!"

What is your favorite thing about being an optometrist?
"Oh my! Our patients! Just talking with them every day. After 32 years, I know some of them very well. They ask me about my kids and granddaughter. It’s the best."

What is one thing you wish all patients would know about eye health?
"That it is important to have regular eye exams. Don't wait until you have issues! So many eye disorders can cause serious problems before you even notice a change in your vision."

What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?
"I like spending time with my family. Any time spent with them is my favorite."
