Our Peak Performance+ Summer Strength Series is an 8-week, Doctor of Physical Therapy-led training program designed specifically for teenage athletes who want to get stronger, move better, and dominate their upcoming seasons.
This isn’t your average workout class with over 20 kids and a “strength coach” standing in the corner with the workout on a whiteboard. Every session is built with purpose-combining expert-level coaching with proven strength and performance principles to help you:
⚽️Build real, sport-specific strength
🏀Improve speed, power, and explosiveness
🏈Reduce injury risk with proper movement mechanics
⚾️Train with intensity and confidence

This weekend, several physical therapists from our pelvic health team completed advanced training focused on colorectal health. One key takeaway: constipation is not normal, though it can present differently for each individual.
While you’re waiting for your appointment with a pelvic floor physical therapist, there are simple steps you can begin at home, such as improving your toileting mechanics and incorporating gentle abdominal massage. These strategies may help support more comfortable and regular bowel function.
When you sprain your ankle, it’s not just the ligaments that take a hit. You can also lose:
▪️Strength
▪️Balance & proprioception (your body’s awareness in space)
▪️Stability with cutting, jumping, and landing
▪️Confidence!!
And if these aren’t addressed properly, you’re at a much higher risk for reinjury and chronic an instability.
So where does Physical Therapy come in?
PT goes beyond rest and ice—we help you fully return to sport by focusing on:
⭐️Restoring range of motion
⭐️Rebuilding strength (especially the stabilizers)
⭐️Improving balance and coordination
⭐️Sport-specific drills (cutting, sprinting, jumping)
