The final "biggest loser" prize of our pharmacy-sponsored NCAA Tournament game goes to Terri, and she earned it!

Terri's envelope was stacked with the first teams eliminated from every bracket position, which officially makes her the queen of early exits. Around here, that still comes with a prize and considerable bragging rights until next year's tournament. Congratulations Terri!

March Madness has officially taken over Dakota PrecisionRx Labs, and we always look forward to it!

Our team kicked off our pharmacy-sponsored NCAA Tournament bracket game, and weeks one and two did not disappoint. Jackie hit the ground running when her envelope revealed NDSU — luck of the Bison! Jacob got rewarded for drawing the very first team eliminated, and Carlo cashed in on the first number one seed to go down. Turns out having a loser in your envelope is not such a bad thing around here.

Over the years, Kevin and the team at Dakota PrecisionRx Labs have quietly been doing something most people don't know about — compounding specialized medications for injured and sick animals at local shelters and pet rescues. Flavored medications, wound care gels, pain management, transdermal treatments. All made right here, for pets who needed a second chance.

Each one received a medication made specifically for them. That level of personalized, precise care is something we provide every patient, and giving back to this community means everything to us.

The Wendell Award is given to those who go above and beyond to save animals. We are so proud to share that our own Kevin Oberlander, RPh, has been honored with the 2026 Wendell Award by the Central Dakota Humane Society.

The report discusses billions moving through the PBM system.

But the reality is this isn’t just happening in Florida. These same dynamics affect pharmacies and patients in every state, including North Dakota. For anyone trying to understand why prescription pricing feels so complicated, this article provides an interesting perspective on one piece of the puzzle.
