Heartview Bismarck and Dickinson are seeking donations of gently used or new items!

Approximately 70% of Heartview’s patients qualify for Medicaid or Medicaid Expansion, reflecting the high poverty rate among those we serve. Many come to us homeless or without basic necessities. Your donations will help someone take the first step into their new life.

Please note: Donations to Heartview Bismarck should be dropped off at our 23rd St location, not 101 E Broadway, due to space constraints. Please contact us with more information.

We recently received a letter from one of our outpatient clients...

"When I came to Heartview, I was broke, homeless, and had lost all faith in everything. I kept coming back one day at a time using the serenity prayer. Then week 5/6 things started to slowly come around and I started feeling better about me and life. I was really struggling, not to stay sober this time, but to stay alive, I had been at war with my mind. I couldn’t see any of my children, no driver’s license, no place to wash clothes, was sleeping in the back of a garage, lots of my inner feelings I didn’t elaborate on cause I was afraid of being put in a psychiatric ward."

"But I couldn’t ask for a better group and counselor greeted me with a warm smile. I was not ready for all of the positivity from so many people who treated me as a friend, I am so blessed for the way it has all played out. I was full of anger and hate at the start but pulled 1 demon at a time til I had handled them. As I stand here, it’s time to be thankful that this experience would not have been possible for me anywhere else or with anyone else. I can’t express my gratitude and the happiness and total change of mind."

If you are ready to take the next step to recovery, get help by calling Heartview's intake department at 701-751-6129 or coming to Heartview's outpatient evaluation walk-in services in Dickinson or Bismarck.

Heartview would like to extend a special thank you to the Bismarck Mandan Community Foundation. In 2024, they were the first to step forward in support of the Opioid Treatment Program expansion, committing $50,000 to help launch the project. Their early investment made it possible for us to move ahead with expanding the space.

Thank you to the Foundation and its donors for believing in Heartview and for your continued support of our community.
