Nurturing Wellness Pediatrics is looking for a caring, dedicated nurse (RN/LPN) to be responsible for the clinical care and coordination of care of the children and families of our practice. At Nurturing Wellness Pediatrics, we have been purposeful about creating a healing environment for our patients as well as our employees and staff. We are looking for a RN/LPN who values the importance of maintaining a strong, positive work culture and healthy work environment. Reminder to join Nurturing Wellness Pediatrics on December 13th from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM for a Holiday Open House! Guests can meet and get their photo taken with Santa, write their Christmas wish list and make a special ornament. We also have an Angel Tree at our clinic with items for local children in need. Happy Halloween from Nurturing Wellness Pediatrics! We wish everyone a safe and FUN evening and wanted to share some tips to make sure little ones are extra safe. Check out a few tips below:

* Tell children not to accept – and especially not to eat – anything that isn’t commercially wrapped. Inspect commercially wrapped treats for signs of tampering, such as an unusual appearance or discoloration, tiny pinholes, or tears in wrappers. Throw away anything that looks suspicious.

* If your child has a food allergy, check the label to ensure the allergen isn’t present. Do not allow the child to eat any home-baked goods he or she may have received.

* If you have very young children, be sure to remove any choking hazards such as gum, peanuts, hard candies, or small toys.
