We know a great family that will be going to Guatemala for a God’s Child Project. I can’t wait to bring our children on a mission trip like they are. Note from Dr. Rachael. So I don’t usually get too personal but I need to express my gratitude. Today is my last day at the clinic before maternity leave. It has been a long pregnancy but especially the last couple weeks with being sick on top of it all.
My staff has been so wonderful and it gives me peace knowing that everything is being taken care of without me being here. Ashley and Michelle have been so supportive moving my schedule around and running the day to day. Sarah has been taking care of me with her gifted hands and emotional support 😜 Dr. Armand has been a lifesaver treating my patients and I’m so happy to hear the stellar reviews he’s been getting from all of them! Lance of course has not only helped at work but he has been my rock at home too.
I’m reminded of the Bible verse we’ve had on the wall of our clinic since opening, Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
I’ve always loved that verse but what I need to keep in mind is God’s plan is always better than “my” plan. I’m so grateful He has put all these people in my life and His timing is perfect❤️
