Something had to give.
Effort wasn’t being reciprocated.
Energy was not being matched.
I grew tired of breadcrumbs.
Empty promises.
Words with no meaning.
So, I changed.
I opened my eyes.
I changed my ways.
I started seeing things for what they were,
not what I hoped they would become.
I walked away.
And I never looked back.

As you grow, your tolerance for certain energies changes.
You start noticing patterns you once ignored. You feel the cost of staying connected to people who don’t align with your values anymore.

🔹 Some people lack loyalty — they disappear when things get real, but return when they need something.
🔹 Some drain your energy — every interaction leaves you tired, anxious, or doubting yourself.

Choosing distance from this is not cruelty.

You don’t owe everyone access to your life.
You don’t need a dramatic ending or a long explanation.

Not everyone will understand your decision — and that’s okay.
They’re not meant to walk with you where you’re going.

✨ Protect your energy.
✨ Choose alignment over attachment.
✨ Choose peace over people-pleasing.

Distance isn’t rejection.
