Best Buddiee invited us to Main Event for a fun Monday! Our clients had a blast! They played lots of games, went bowling, did the obstacle course, and played laser tag! I hat an eventful night!

Thank you Senator Guthrie!

I was honored to welcome constituents from Paddington Place Cottages in Bixby to the Capitol yesterday!

Paddington Place serves individuals with intellectual disabilities, and it was great to hear more about their services and the ways they support individuals in reaching their highest level of independence. I’m grateful to the residents and staff who stopped by my office to visit and share about the important work they’re doing in our community.

Today Paddington Place Cottages was at the Oklahoma State Capitol advocating for a 112% increase in Medicaid reimbursement.

We had the opportunity to speak with three legislators:

• Brian Guthrie
• Bryan Logan
• Chris Banning

Talking directly with them about what this increase would mean for our residents — better staffing, stronger supports, and improved quality of care — truly made a difference.

Advocacy isn’t just a meeting. It’s a movement. And today, we showed up. 💙

We want 112%!

Today we lobby for a brighter future 💙

ICFs are pushing for a 112% Medicaid reimbursement rate so facilities can actually cover the true cost of care. That funding would go toward:
* Better pay for direct care staff
* Stronger staffing support
* Improved medical & therapeutic services
* Keeping up with rising food and operational costs

This isn't about profit — it's about protecting quality care for individuals with intellectual disabilities and making sure facilities can continue serving them the way they deserve. 💙

So proud of our clients for using their voices today.
