When families invite us into their most vulnerable moments, we don’t take that lightly. One of our families recently shared how their loved one’s final wish was to come home. The thought of providing that care alone can feel overwhelming and even scary. It’s your loved one, you don’t want to do something wrong when they need you most.

The Whiskey & Wishes event, hosted by Soldier’s Wish, set out with a heartfelt goal: to raise $7,500 to help an Army veteran who needed urgent vehicle repairs. This veteran is not only serving his country but also caring for his disabled veteran wife, making reliable transportation absolutely essential.

Thanks to the generosity of supporters and the power of community, the event exceeded expectations, raising $8,000! That extra $500 is more than just a number—it’s a symbol of how deeply people care about those who’ve served.

Live Well Hospice, a proud member of the We Honor Veterans program, was among the organizations showing love and support. Their commitment to veteran-focused causes makes a real difference in the lives of those who’ve sacrificed so much.

Congratulations to everyone involved—for not just meeting the goal, but surpassing it. This is what honoring our heroes looks like.
