I harvested my first basil today! It was quite tasty, 😋. The best part is that I grew this myself, no store needed, 😀! I looked up to see if dogs could eat it and yes they can, in small quantities. It has anti-inflammatory properties. In dogs, it reduces their chance of getting cancer, eases their anxiety/arthritic pain and decreases cellular damage.

Here is Samuel, quite green, after being outside chasing the lawnmower, 😅. This is typical for him during these warm months. The picture of him and Gideon is from them licking up their peanut butter. They get it twice a day with their Benadryl. As you can see, Samuel likes to lick it with his butt in the air, 😂🤣. He has never been one to “sit”. It takes quite a bit of encouragement, 😉.
