Here’s the good news: you can purchase glasses or sunglasses from me before the deadline and schedule your eye exam for January. Your benefits are based on the purchase date, and exam reimbursement after year-end varies by plan.

It’s a lovely sunny day today, but the moody fall days hit different 🍂 The chill, the mist, the way the bright leaves pop against a dark sky… it’s pure magic. Days like these make me appreciate the sunshine even more.

Are you all excited for Halloween tomorrow? 🎃 It’s hands down my favorite holiday especially here in Black Mountain. Last weekend’s pet parade was everything I love about this town… seeing friends and neighbors, adorable pets, and strolling down my favorite street, Cherry Street. 🖤

The costumes were hilarious — the winner was a “scared crow” that was scared of their scarecrow pup 😂 Only in Black Mountain! What’s everyone dressing up as or doing for Halloween tomorrow? 👻🐾

About Kim

I have been a dispensing optician since 1986. Throughout this time I have worked in large Opthomology practices, chain stores, and Independent Optical shops. For the past 20 years I’ve been working in high-end, high-quality optical with independent frame manufacturers from France, Denmark, Germany, Belgium, Italy, and Japan. These manufacturers create works of art for your face.

In March of 2019, I decided to open a boutique optical shop. The time had come to build something for myself and the amazing clients with whom I have been working for many years. It’s been very exciting to create this unique offering, keeping with small independent manufacturers who produce a high-quality product and are affordable for my clients. I have discovered some fabulous designers from Europe and also found great companies that are in the USA.

The prospect of reconnecting with previous clients and meeting new ones excites me. Come in with your prescription and we’ll make you an excellent pair of glasses that highlights your personal expression. Call for an appointment and come see some exciting new unique and high-quality products at affordable prices.

If you have trouble getting to me, I will come to you. A modest fee would be charged for single sales but if you purchase two or more pairs, there will be no fee. Gather your friends together and we’ll make a party of it.
