✨ Massage Openings — March, April & May ✨

Here is an updated look at what I currently have available.

You may notice my times are looking a little slimmer — and honestly, that’s because my weekday afternoons have been filling quickly with Children’s Long-Term Support kiddos. This has been such a blessing and an incredible opportunity to support some truly amazing kids, and I am so honored to be part of their care.

Because of that shift, my schedule is looking a bit more morning-heavy and with a few less Saturdays as I continue working toward honoring and valuing my own time and family balance too. 💛

A gentle reminder:
Please plan to arrive about 5 minutes early for your session (not much more than that). If you are running more than 15 minutes late, I will kindly ask you to reschedule — not as a punishment, but because by the time you get settled, you’ve already lost a good portion of your hands-on time, and I truly want you to receive the full benefit of your session.

If one of these times works for you, message me and I’ll get you on the schedule. ✨

Ohhhhh I love when fascia education starts popping up on my feed 🙌 because this is EXACTLY what I see every single day on my table.

Fascia isn’t just “that stuff under your skin.” It’s the beautiful web that wraps around your muscles, organs, nerves, and everything in between. When it’s happy and gliding? You move well. You feel good. You breathe deeper. 💛

But when there’s surgery, C-sections, injuries, stress, or long-held tension… that web can get sticky, tight, and overprotective. And guess what? The body compensates. Abs turn off. Hips grip. Shoulders pull. Low backs start talking. The brain loses some of that clean communication with the area.

This is where massage therapy becomes powerful.

✨ Gentle scar work can help reintroduce healthy movement to tissue.
✨ Myofascial techniques help that web soften and glide again.
✨ Cupping can gently lift and hydrate restricted layers.
✨ Slow, intentional touch helps calm the nervous system so the body feels safe enough to release.
✨ Thai stretching and movement-based work help re-educate patterns.

When fascia moves well… the whole body moves well. And when the nervous system feels safe… healing happens faster.

Massage isn’t just relaxation (although yes please to that too 😉). It’s communication. It’s reminding your body how to connect again.

If you’ve had surgery, carry tension in your belly, hips, or ribs, or feel “off” in a way you can’t explain… this is often why.

And the good news? The body WANTS to heal. We just have to give it the right kind of support. 💆‍♀️🌿

If this made you think of your own scar or tension pattern… message me. Let’s get that fascia flowing again. 💛

✨ Schedule Clarity + March & April Openings ✨

I just want to clear something up from my last post so there’s no confusion.

It’s not that I’m working less. It’s that many of my weekly time slots are now filled with standing regular clients — which I’m incredibly grateful for. 🤍

My Sundays are currently full.
My Tuesdays are full aside from one 9:30 opening.
I’m still working weekends (two Saturdays a month).

What’s changed is that I’m intentionally protecting more afternoon time with my kids. Over the last year, my weekly afternoon appointments filled quickly, and I realized I needed to carve out that Mom space again.

This is about balance — not cutting back.
I’m prioritizing my regular weekly clients while also protecting family time.

April will be especially limited because:
🌴 April 12–18 I’ll be at my Women’s Retreat
💻 April 23–25 I’ll be attending the Touch For Health Conference online

So here’s what I currently have open:

Over this last retreat, I was reminded how important reflection and calm are for me. Because of that, Saturdays will now be more protected time — family time, rest, catching up, breathing.

I will be returning to a one to two Saturdays per month schedule.
If a Saturday is open, it will generally be early morning — around 7:00 or 8:00 AM.

My regular Saturday back-to-back clients will always receive first notice and first opportunity on those dates. 💛

This shift allows me to continue showing up fully present for each of you — through pregnancy, stress, injury recovery, children’s sessions, and even hospice care.

Thank you for growing with me. Thank you for respecting this season of structure and balance.

02/15/2026

As I sit at home and reflect back on this week, I keep thinking about the things I learned, the things I can change, the things I can improve, the constructive criticism, the unexpected lessons, and the quiet growth that happens when you host something bigger than yourself.

When you’re hosting a retreat with multiple people and multiple leaders, there are expectations. There are needs. There are personalities. There are surprises you can’t plan for. And there is a whole lot of self growth.

At the beginning of the week someone asked me what my basic needs were. Mine are simple. I need to go to bed early. I need a little alone time. I like good food.

But my relaxation time looks different than most people’s. I actually enjoy moving. I enjoy organizing. I enjoy problem solving. I relax by doing. Sitting still isn’t always restful for me. Sometimes creating, fixing, adjusting, or planning is what settles my nervous system.

And everyone’s needs are different. Some people recharge with silence. Some recharge with conversation. Some need adventure. Some need stillness. Learning how to meet everyone where they are while still honoring your own needs is both challenging and rewarding.

We spend months preparing. Months of planning, organizing, fine tuning every detail. And then you land on an island and remember what we learned the first time. Things don’t always go as planned. The island teaches you. Patience. Gratitude. Forgiveness. Letting go of control.

This retreat felt slower. Everyone had more personal space. Our activities felt more aligned with the group. And we also had to accept the unexpected. Intense water. Island wide events we have no control over. Reminders that we are guests in someone else’s culture. We get to understand life and culture and each other a little more deeply.

I saw couples connect in ways that filled my heart. I saw 50 years of love. Giggling, hand holding, small kisses. I saw new love. Joyful, expressive, undivided. I saw partners taking care of each other, making small meals, holding hands in the water, kissing in the ocean.

Welcoming back returning guests was special. And meeting new people is always stretching for me. I’m a Libra. I feel everything. My mood can swing. My mouth sometimes moves faster than my filter. But I’m learning grace. I’m learning purpose. I’m learning how to divide my attention without losing myself.

One thing I really reflected on this week is driving.

I’ve driven in different countries and cultures. And one phrase that has always stuck with me is, he who hesitates dies. Not literally. But in some places, if you hesitate, you get rear ended. If you don’t commit, traffic swallows you. You have to move. You have to trust yourself.

Driving at home in your own vehicle is different. When it’s your car, your rules, your kids in the backseat, you can turn the radio up. You can turn it down. You can tell them to quiet down. You know your roads. You know your comfort zone.

Driving six other adults around in a rented vehicle in another country is different. You don’t have the luxury of tuning out the noise. You don’t have the comfort of it being your vehicle. You are responsible for six other lives.

And what most people don’t understand is when you rent a vehicle in another country, you are physically and financially responsible for that vehicle. The insurance. The damage. What happens to it. If someone else drives it and they are not listed, you pay, and it’s not cheap.

The insurance at the rental counter is phenomenally expensive. It’s not just renting a car. It’s gas. It’s preparation. It’s standing in line when reservations get changed. It’s adjusting plans. It’s sometimes holding it together while everything shifts and you still have a group waiting on you.

If we got a flat tire, it could be two to three hours before help arrives. If there is an accident and authorities get involved, that’s a five hour marathon of paperwork and stress, and possibly worse depending on the situation.

That weight sits differently.

What feels normal and instinctual to me does not always feel safe to everyone else.

And I learned this week that driving a group of people in another country isn’t about confidence behind the wheel. It’s about grace and patience for the people sitting in the vehicle with me.

It’s something I need to grow in. It’s something I need to hold with more awareness. It’s something I need to approach with more calm for the nervous systems around me. And that’s okay.

Learning to be a retreat host is not easy. Nobody handed me a book. I didn’t take a class on how to become a retreat host.

Someone came to me with the idea of hosting retreats because they had watched me travel. They saw my photos. They saw the excitement in my face. They said they wished they could go with me.

That’s where this started.

I’m trying to create as much of what I would want out of an experience as I can give back to someone else. To feel cared about while still having space to experience it on your own. To step into culture in a different way.

And how do I make that possible? I ask myself how can I do this the cheapest way possible. How can I make this something I could afford. How can I build an experience that feels worth every dollar spent.

Being a retreat host is so much more than people see. It’s taking payments. Tracking deposits. Budgeting months in advance. Deciding when to spend money and when to hold back. Calculating food, transportation, excursions, insurance, rental vehicles, and all the little details nobody thinks about.

It’s asking yourself if you can afford to front something. Hoping the rooms fill. Adjusting when they don’t. Pivoting when numbers don’t line up exactly the way you planned.

And when you’re planning multiple retreats at once while running your own business, adding new programs, managing computers, printing materials, building binders, answering emails, and trying to get everything perfect, it’s a lot.

It’s mental load. Emotional load. Financial load.

You don’t just host the fun parts. You carry the backend too.

I know what it feels like to pay for retreats. To step away from my family and responsibilities and enter someone else’s controlled chaos. I’ve been on retreats where food was different, sleeping arrangements were awkward, travel was unpredictable. I’ve been on a two week experience where I didn’t leave unless I walked up a massive hill to a waterfall. Disconnecting completely was incredible for my soul.

And I’ve also learned that some people cannot disconnect from the world no matter how hard they try.

Learning what people expect, what they deserve, and how to meet expectations while staying authentic is a learning period for everyone involved.

This was only my second out of country retreat. And I can honestly say we are growing. I am growing.

Leadership isn’t glamorous. It’s responsibility. And I’m learning to carry it better every time.

And I’m grateful for every lesson.

🌿 Children’s Long-Term Support (CLTS): What Does a Session Look Like? 🌿

One of the most common questions I hear from parents, guardians, and caregivers alike is:
“What would my child actually do during a session?”

CLTS sessions are gentle, flexible, and guided by the child. Every session may look a little different depending on what that child needs on that day.

✨ What a 30-Minute Session May Include

🌀 Sound therapy
Calming sounds or tones to help the body slow down and settle.

🤍 Supportive or compression touch
Hands, feet, legs, or other areas — based on what feels best for the child that day.

🌈 Interactive learning
Simple, engaging activities using color, sound, emotions, or gentle energy-balancing tools from Touch for Health and other modalities I’ve learned.

🌱 When Sessions Build Over Time

For some children, we take things slowly. Sessions may begin with hands or feet and build as comfort grows. When it feels right, gentle compression massage can be part of the session, with the child resting comfortably under a blanket and heating pad.

⏳ What an Hour Session May Look Like

For children who do well with longer sessions, an hour appointment allows more time with each element.

🌀 Sound therapy (15–20 minutes)
More time to settle and support nervous system regulation.

🤍 Massage or compression work (15–20 minutes)
Based on what feels best for the child that day, allowing deeper relaxation and comfort.

🌈 Balancing & color activities
Rounding out the session with gentle balancing techniques and color-based activities using Touch for Health.

👀 What to Expect in the First Few Sessions

Understanding what they’re doing in each session helps caregivers feel prepared for the experience. Many families haven’t experienced things like sound therapy or compression work before.

In the first few sessions, caregivers are welcome to watch. I explain what I’m doing, why I’m doing it, and how it supports the body and nervous system.

I also talk through ways you can take small pieces of this work home with you — simple things that help reinforce positive changes over time.

Some of the easiest and most helpful suggestions have been using calming lotions with essential oils, playing different types of music, or incorporating sound therapy at home. There are many tools available now that mimic the sounds used in sessions.

Growth happens over time, and often it’s the simple things practiced consistently that make the biggest difference.

📏 How Progress Is Noted

In the few short months I’ve been offering CLTS services to several kiddos on a regular basis, caregivers have shared some really meaningful observations.

Many have noticed their child sleeps better after sessions. Some children begin to anticipate their appointment like they know it’s time — they may seem a little wound up or extra energetic beforehand — and then after their session, they settle and are more mellow for a few days.

Caregivers have also shared that the idea of this type of therapy being fun, interactive, and pressure-free makes a big difference. There’s no expectation to perform or do things a certain way. Kids are simply allowed to relax, explore, and be themselves.

And honestly — learning how to fully relax can be hard, even for adults. Having a space where kids can practice that in a supportive way can be incredibly valuable.

📄 Communication, Consent & Transparency

I will be offering a Consent to Release / Authorization to Communicate Information form so that, with permission, I can collaborate with caregivers and care teams when appropriate.

I also want to share that I am new to offering CLTS services and have been doing so for about three months. Each county handles referrals, communication, and approvals a little differently, and I continue to learn and adjust as I work with different counties. Not every case is a yes — and that’s okay.

💬 Is This Right for Your Child?

Having a clear understanding of what sessions look like can help caregivers and social workers decide if this service may be supportive.

If you’d like more information, paperwork, or to talk through your child’s needs, feel free to message me. I’m always happy to answer questions and help you understand what the process looks like for your county. 💛

02/05/2026

As I get ready for our couples retreat in Puerto Rico with Janelle and Karrie as my co-hosts, I’ve been sitting with what retreats really mean to me.

A retreat isn’t just a trip.
It’s not a vacation.
It’s not escaping life.

For me, retreats are a return.

They are a pause from the noise, the rushing, the roles we all carry every single day. They’re a chance to step out of autopilot and remember who you are when you’re not “on” for everyone else.

Travel has always been a huge part of my life. Being in new places, feeling the ocean air, walking unfamiliar paths, hearing different sounds — it fills something in me that nothing else does. It reminds me how big the world is and how much space we actually have to breathe.

Even though retreats are technically work for me, they refill my cup in a way nothing else does. I get to do what I love most:
✨ create safe spaces
✨ care for people deeply
✨ guide connection — with yourself, with your partner, and with nature
✨ watch people soften, open, laugh, cry, and come back home to themselves

I don’t host retreats because they’re trendy or flashy. I host them because I believe in them. I believe in slowing down. I believe in intentional time away. I believe in shared meals, quiet mornings, deep conversations, saltwater healing, and moments that stay with you long after you return home.

I keep doing retreats because they change people — including me. Every single time.

I’m incredibly grateful to walk into this next one alongside Janelle and Karrie, and with couples who are choosing to show up for their relationship, for themselves, and for something deeper than everyday life.

This is my why.
This is why I keep saying yes.
And this is why my heart is so full heading into this next adventure 🤍🌴
