Burial will follow in the Lake Chapel Cemetery.

Mr. James Anderson Bridges, Jr.

A graveside funeral service will take place Saturday (3/14/26) at 2 P.M. at the Ramah Cemetery in Pierce County, the resting place of generations of Bennetts.

Immediately following the service, the family will receive family and friends during a time of fellowship at the Shady Grove Baptist Church Social Hall.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at Wiregrass Georgia Technical College in Valdosta.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you contribute to The Wiregrass Georgia Technical College Foundation at www.wiregrass.edu/foundation/give-to-foundation-south

A funeral service will be held Saturday afternoon, February 14, 2026, at 2 pm at Destination Church in Blackshear with Rev. Eric Dixon officiating.

Burial will follow in Waters Cemetery in Blackshear

The family requests her Pierce County Middle School 8th grade class to serve as Honorary Pallbearers and should meet at the church by 1:45 pm Saturday for the service.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta, GA.
