In 1983, President Ronald Reagan declared November as National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month. At that time, fewer than 2 million Americans were living with Alzheimer’s, but today that number has grown to an estimated 6.7 million Americans.
Behind every diagnosis is a family navigating the challenges of memory loss, care decisions and emotional strain. This month, we recognize the growing impact of this disease and honor the strength of those living with Alzheimer’s and the caregivers who walk beside them every day.
