Let’s start off by recognizing NECK RANGE OF MOTION!
Your constantly stiff, sore, your muscles are hard to touch.
This isn’t normal!! We should feel fluid and 99% of us suffer with horrible neck and upper back pain.
Caused by looking down!
Use of cell phone, small children, cooking, driving, and so many more activities have us in awkward positions, resulting in taught and tender muscles ligaments and tendons.
Make sure to break for 15 min to stretch and relax those tense muscles.
-ear to shoulder stretch : assists the scalenes; outer neck
- slight turn toward arm pit and look down: Levator scapulae; back of the neck under shoulder blade
-look to the left the the right : scm (sternocleidomastoid) bad of ear to front of collar bone
-last roll a small towel, lay back and rest neck draped over to get rid of a bad or no curvature in your spine!
